Congrats Success! Always happy to help when I can. Party Rockin' Step is a stand alone its not part of a series. Cathe did a few of them that were filmed at the same time but meant to be stand alones not part of a series. You can find Party Rockin' Step at Cathe.com or TotalFitnessdvds.com There are two step work outs for that one separate one is alot of choreography, the other is less choreography for those that don't do well with heavily choreographed workouts. I have Party Rockin' Step workout #2, there is a one that is a separate dvd. Check the clips out and see what one you like.

Both workouts are done! BTW, I am in week 6 of the XTrain rotation. Still loving it!

Debbie - you can also read reviews on Video Fitness. From what I read, this one does a lot of turning around the step. You can also find this one very cheap at amazon. Last time it was under $15, but that was awhile ago? If you buy from Mary at Totalfitnessdvd's, she has a return policy if you don't like the dvd. I am pretty sure amazon has this on streaming for $ 1.99. Before you buy you can try it and see if you like it, JMO! X10- Cardio Blast= 26 Min
MV= 9.40
CB= 334

XTrain- D2- Bi's & Tri's= 46 Min
MV= 6.50
CB= 408

Total calories burned= 742:)

I forgot to post this morning. I did a Cardio Coach mix and had an excellent workout. I made 6000 steps by the end of that workout and 10,000 by 2:30 this afternoon.

Workout was 42 minutes, ran 2.5 miles and burned about 300 calories.

Roxie -Where are you? Hope you are ok, I know you weren't feeling so hot last week.

Nora - Thanks for the information. I'm not sure I will get it, I was just wondering how I missed it. I miss my step workouts but don't want to injure my knees any more.

Belinda - Thanks for the links, I will check them out just to see how they are. I doubt I will get them.
 
Debbie - have you tried Jessica Smith's youtube workouts? She shows modification and the workouts are FREE! I think, she has one workout w/the step. Her workouts are fun!

Today I will do SBF BC Barre = 25 min and Outer Thigh Target = 20 min (LB/Cardio) Not sure, what else I will do today? We shall see :)

Today I did Burn Sets Bi's & Tri's and had a great workout. Love this one!

This is what I did:

BICEPS
Dumbbell Curls
- 15's - 2 sets 10 reps; 1 set 12 reps
Simultaneous Rotational Curls - 20's - 1 set 10 reps; 1 set 9 resps
Dropped to 15's for 3rd set and did 10 reps
Concentration Curls - 20# - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 9 reps
Hammer Curl Double Arm Crazy 8's - 12's - 24 reps

TRICEPS
Tricep Pushups
- 3 sets (Love to hate these, I really feel them)
Lying Tricep Extensions - 12's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
One Arm Kickbacks - 10# - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 14 reps
Dumbbell Overhead Tricep Extension w/Tube - Skipped

Then I got on my treadmill and did a fast paced walk for 1 mile. Need to get my steps in! :)

Belinda - I've never heard of her. I will check her out. Thanks!

Roxie - Hope you feel better soon! Take it easy and rest all you can.

Today I will do XT Biceps and Triceps. SBF Stopwatch Planks 3 = 15 min + Shoulders = 10 min.

Roxie - have you seen a specialist for your sinus? Hope the antibiotic kick in soon.

This morning I did another Cardio Coach Mix I made up. This was the first mix I made and I don't know what I was thinking. It's a tough one, but I did the whole workout. No knee problems with it at all. I plan on doing a stretch later since we have the day off today due to the very frigid weather here. Yay!!!!

Workout was 60 minutes total, ran 3.36 miles and burned (according to Fitbit) 396 calories.

Roxie - Cough syrup with codeine is the best!! :)

Belinda - Nice workout, girl. What is SBF Stopwatch Planks?

Nora - Nice workouts and calorie burn! You are amazing!!

Chris - When you were using MyFitnessPal and your Fitbit did yours sort of do double workouts when you logged them? Example: My run today was approximately 40 minutes when you don't count the warm up and cool down. At the end of my workout my Fitbit showed 45 active minutes which is pretty accurate. When I entered my workout in MFP, it now shows I have 105 very active minutes. That can't be right. And then that gives me a ton more calories to eat. Have you noticed this when using these things? Hope your doing ok and not getting any crap from you son. {{{HUGS}}}
 
Hey ladies,

Just got back from the doctor. Had a full check up, haven't seen him in a year, lol! Doc, didn't like that:p He wants me to come in at least twice a year:D I have a lot of upcoming appointments.

Before I left this morning DH and I did XT Triceps and biceps. Had a great workout. I need to catch up on laundry then I will do Suzanne Bowen Fitness Stop Watch planks.

Debbie - Suzanne Bowen Fitness is a paid streaming subscription. And Stop Watch planks, nothing but planks and they are tough, with different variation. I think her plank work is one of the toughest I ever done. Good job this morning.

I will be back later this afternoon.

XTrain- D1- Chest,Back & Shoulders= 51 Min
MV= 6.50
CB= 453

Total calories burned= 799:cool:

So I watched Hiit Lift It and Hit It Upper Body workouts. They look like really tough workouts. I know I'll have to be careful with these. I can already feel my upper back getting into knots again. They look fun though. I will try them next week.

One thing I wasn't too fond of was the music. Yuck!! I know I'm getting older but I like to think I can listen to today's music. Not that. It was so loud, too. Almost to where I couldn't hear Cathe talking. Very annoying. I wish you could just turn the music off and just listen to Cathe. I really don't know how many times I can do those workouts with that music on it. Are the cardio ones the same way?

The ab workouts look awesome. Can't wait to try them!! If I ever set aside time to do them.

Sorry for the complaints - just my observations. They definitely look like friers, though.
 
Debbie - did you buy them? The music in the new workouts are like you said yuck! Some a little off beat in the cardio once, JMO! If you go to Videofitness.com , they have reviews on all the new workouts. I think XT in my opinion is better, the music too. The leg moves are similar to XT with cardio burst sprinkled in.

Today I did a small weight leg workout:

Leg Press Station - 135# - 2 sets/10 reps; 1 set/12 reps
Barbell Squats - 55# - 2 sets/10 reps; 1 set/12 reps
Deadlifts - 45# - 2 sets/10 reps; 1 set/12 reps

Then I got on my treadmill for a 1 mile fast pace walk.

Belinda - Yes, I bought them. I was watching them yesterday to see what I was in for.
