CRACY, STRONG AND LOVING IT January 2016 - January 2020

Today I did some of Pure Strength Legs. Not a fan of any of Cathe's floorwork so I stopped after the Qtr. Deads. Had a good workout, used light weights because I didn't want to irritate my knees. By the end, my right one started to bug me.

Legs
Front/Back Lunges - warmup
: 5's - 8 reps each side
Front Lunges: 12's - 8 reps each side
Back Lunges: 12's - 8 reps each side
Static Lunges: 25# barbell - 2 sets/16 reps
Plie Squats w/bodybar: 12# - 22 reps
Plie Squats: 25# - Many reps
Squats: 12's - 2 sets/12 reps (I think)
Quarter Deadlifts: 25# - 2 sets/12 reps

Then I got on my treadmill and walked 1 mile.

Debbie- Great job on today's workout with Pure Strength Legs and skipped the floor work and walked a mile on treadmill. WTG, and good call to go lower weights so as not to bug your knees. Way to rock your Fridays staring off with a great workout, high fives. Have a blessed and fun Friday!:);)

I did another StudioSweat Spin workout 32 minutes 8.5 miles 241 calories 1,144 cals this week, I know Nora does that in one day.

Incline Dumbbell Press: 30's - 1 sets/10 reps (to failure)
Push-Ups: 16 reps

SHOULDERS
Standing Dumbbell Overhead Press: 15's - 1 set/10 reps
Standing Dumbbell Overhead Press: 12's - 1 set/10 reps
Standing Dumbbell Overhead Press: 12's - 1 set/10 reps (to failure)


Incline Dumbbell Flies: 20's - 2 sets/10 reps
Incline Superset (Flies to Press): 20's - 1 set/7 reps (was 9 reps but I couldn't go anymore than 7.

Single Arm Lateral Raise: 8's - 2 sets/10 reps
Single Arm Lateral Raise: 8's - 1 sets/14 reps (to failure)

Single Arm Rear Delt Flye: 8's - 2 sets/10 reps
Single Arm Rear Delt Flye: 8's -1 sets/15 reps (to failure)

Then I did a mile on my treadmill.

Hi ladies!

At lunch today, I did a 1-Mile Turkey Trot from JS on YouTube.

After work, I did the following:

From Core De Force - MMA Speed and Core Kinetics. Loved Core Kinetics, but not so much MMA Speed. Maybe when I try it a second time, I'll like it more.

From JS on YouTube - Kickboxing for Weight Loss (her hubby leads this one) and 10-Minute Flexibility Training.

Good job today everyone!
 
Today I did Run Fit with Candace. Haven't done that one since August. Had a decent workout but it was a hard one. I can tell I haven't done it in a while. My knees were bothering me a bit, too, so that made it harder. But I finished it and I feel good now.

Workout was 52 minutes, ran 3.5 miles, burned 350 calories (TM said 468) and went 7097 steps. I used the HR monitor on my TM after one of the intervals where I was really feeling my HR being high. My TM said it was at 156 bpm. I look at my FitBit and it says I'm at 126 bpm. How can something that is on my wrist and feels my HR not get it right? I don't get it.

Oh well, I know I worked hard on this one.

Nora - Nice workouts. Those core workouts sound interesting. I could use some new ab workouts.

Jodi - Nice job on your workouts as well!

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I went to the doc, my sinus/ear infection is acting up again. Come home late, I did a 30 min walk +
Slide & Glide Workout DVD Express - Cardio + Abs + Stretch - 39:34. Today I did a 30 min walk + 20 min Barre (butt) + Slide & Glide workout dvd Muscle Conditioning - 30:34.

DH and I will spent TG in DC. We will leave tomorrow morning. Not sure, what workouts I will fit in?
