Hey ladies! Quick check in, in case I don't get back on later. Today's plan is S&H: legs & shoulders (shoulders only) and disc 26 ( I think? - Plyo legs). I was planning on just doing S&H, and then a HIIT, but figured I'd just do Plyo legs to get the same leg + cardio/HIIT factor ;)

Good Morning Ladies.

Today was supposed to be my rest day but I didn't feel like taking it. :p I will take it either over the weekend or on Monday. I am actually considering doing my leg + chest and back STS work outs in one day over the weekend so I can rest on the other day. Hmmmm...am I crazy? :eek: M3 work outs move slow though so I think I will be okay...

That being said, this morning I did Step Blast (and dedicated it to our very own Kiki!!!;) ) and abs/planks from SJP. Good stuff! :)

So my WW weigh in was today. Down another .6#! Yay. Also was given the "you lost 5% of your total body weight" award today! :) Ofcourse then it tells me that I'm suddenly losing weight too fast!? WHAT!? An average of .5-1# per week is too fast!?!? Um, I don't think so! :rolleyes: My total weight loss goal is 10#. I've lost 7# so far so I'm getting there....:D

Going out to dinner tonight w/family to celebrate my son's Kindergarten graduation that happened last night! It was a very cute ceremony but it was soooooo hot! OY! So after tonight's meal that .6 loss will turn into a .6 gain no doubt! :p Then I have Father's Day dinner on Sunday, dinner with my BF on Wednesday, a Grad party next Sunday and the icing on the cake is a weekend away at the casinos for 4th of July! When it rains it pours, I swear! It's like a repeat of the month of May!!!:eek:

Kiki:: Nice work out girl! I'm gonna give SRL another shot this weekend. If I still am not happy with it then I will probably switch over to Plyo for the final 2 leg work outs. Sorry for the PS talk but I am not even a fan of it so it's Tracy you need to yell at. Not me! ;):D:p

Tracy:: I think it was Powerstrike 5 that I didn't care for and sold but I could be very wrong on that. It's been a while already....:confused: Yeah there is a Bodystrikes and a Bodystrikes 2. What I was saying is that I have the original one and enjoy it so it prompted me to purchase a Power Strike work out but I ended up not caring for it. Oh well. :rolleyes: Seriously-that horseback riding/core exercising machine is bizarre!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Happy Friday! This morning I did Disc 20 (which I had skipped earlier this week). Tough stuff, I loved it! It's been a crazy busy week and I'm really looking forward to getting home tonight, putting on my PJs, and relaxing!! Have a great weekend all!

Oh ladies, I've been such a slug the past couple of days! If done my STS workouts, but not much else. I know it's not good enough, amnd that I have to get up and move. But somehow, I've not yet made it happen.

Anyway, just wanted to check in and let you all know that I haven't fallen off of a cliff.

(Also, congrats on your WW weigh-in. What a tremendous accomplishment!)
 
Katie:: Good job banging out Disc 20! I say put on those pj's later and relax with a glass of wine! You deserve it! You can also have DH rub your feet while your at it! ;)

Jen:: TY re the weight loss. Sorry you are having a tough week work out wise. Sometimes it's just not in the cards to do it all. It's okay. You'll come back strong next week. I just know it! :)
 
hello. This morning I completed STS disk 21. I wanted to do some cardio since it was just back and bi's, but I just didn't have it in me...I usually don't TTOM.

Wendy: congrats again on your weight loss! I am still holding fast to where I have been, watching calorie intake and all....my body is so stubborn!

Jenhitt: sorry about your slug-fest!:D:( I think we all do that from time to time.

Katie: hope you have a nice, relaxing w/e.

Gonna take DD's and a few of their friends to see Mr. Popper's Penguins :confused: in a bit.

Hi there ladies - happy Friday! I did 4DS Kickboxing Cardio only premix - pretty short and not too strenuous, so might do something more later. We'll see:) I should be getting weighted gloves and weighted vest in the mail today:) I looked at Ross and Tuesday Morning, as well as some sporting good stores without much luck - so I went ahead and ordered them from cathe.com. Should be good for a while with what I've got weight-wise now:) Although I'll probably get 20 lb dumbells here pretty soon down the road so that I'm ready when they are needed:)

Kiki - your planned workouts sound great! I'm curious about the plyo legs in M3... (and maybe a little scared :confused:)

Wendy - woo hoo on the weight loss! Congratulations!

Tracy - I went to the collage catalog right after reading all the Iliara posts from everyone - like I need more exercise videos! lol - they do look interesting:)

Katie - great job on Disc 20! I know you had a crazy week, good for you for getting it done!

Jen - everyone has that type of week, no worries - you'll do it! :) I find that if I don't feel like exercising really, if I tell myself I can stop if I want once I get started, it helps - I usually don't stop, but just knowing that I can takes the pressure off:)

Autumn - thanks for sending that BR link out too - I've been looking at those that you guys have been posting, looks very interesting:)

Kris:: 4DS k/b tho it's short n sweet is one of my fave k/b routines! Add weighted gloves (now that you are getting them!) if you want to kick up the intensity a notch! ;) Thanks re the weight loss! I've been struggling for a while now to get "the last 5 pounds off" (which has now turned into 10# cause it's so easy to do-LOL) so I am beyond thrilled to have finally found something that works for me! :)
 
Wendy - great job! 2 STS done already, that's awesome!! I'll use my weighted gloves next time on 4DS Kickbox - thanks for the advice :) I'm so glad WW is working for you so well, that's awesome:)

I did 4DS HIS cardio only premix and then Disc 7:) What's up with Elmo pushups? I managed 8 extremely shakey pathetic ones, lol :eek: Will probably get a AC in a little later.

Kris and Wendy: woo- hoo::: on your workouts today.... I'm glad someone is checking in besides me!

Today I did BM2: both of the step portions, no upper body...I was whooped since I used 2 risers....that is tough!!! but I am trying to increase my cardio since my DH wants me to start riding with him and maybe even train for a century ride :confused::eek:, but we'll see about that!

I also am still working on my 7 Wks to 100 Pushups and did 60 today!! woo hoo:D

My life is pretty boring so I suppose that this will be the highlight of my day...besides clothes shopping for my DDs.

Kris:: Nice work on the elmo push ups. I can't do them very effectively either. lol

Tracy:: Yes I think you need to ride with your hubby and eventually train for a century ride! You could think of it as a bonding experience. ;) Kudos on the push up challenge today! Thats awesome!!!! :D

After my work outs and lunch, DS and I played outside for a while. He got a water hopscotch game from his grandma for his B'day so we set it up and played for an hour. Very cute. You hook a hose up to it and turn on the water. The water comes up and out of the board like a fountain thru the various holes that are in it and the jumping you do makes it squirt out higher and harder at you so you get even wetter! :eek: It was also doubling as a slip n slide for DS. ;) I need to get him one of them soon! I think I wanna try it but I'll probably break something if I do! :confused::rolleyes: LOL

K, off I go to do some housework before it's time to start dinner!

Great w/os today Wendy, Kris, and Tracy!!! You gals rocked it out fo sho! :) Candidly, I've been very tempted to be lazy lately but you all have been inspiring me to keep going strong. Thanks for that!

On that note, today was my long day - Disc 22 + LIC abs + LIC cardio premix. I LOVED disc 22. One of my fav STS w/o to date. Those drop sets were awesome! I think I just enjoyed the change of pace.

Sorry for the short post but I'm checking in from my phone. I'm "supposed" to be watching a movie (RED) with DH and his friend but I'm kinda bored.... :rollseyes: :grins: BBT!!
