40's August how I love thee

Did The Firm power yoga. It was okay. It might have been better if I was alone - my assistants were there. At first it was one and she was quiet and then the other came and then they started playing, making noise, and etc. Under normal circumstances it would be nice that they were playing together nicely, but it was slightly frustrating while I was exercising!

Murphy, your kids sound like my two dogs. I do not know how you do it I have given up exercising with them around!
 
Good morning! Today did disc 21. Murphy, helpers make me crazy! On the other hand, how sweet that they like to be with you! I know I just love my time alone! Lisa, any big plans for the weekend? Ronne, I know you have to have something fun planned! You always do! Roxie, how are you? Will you be at the boat all weekend? Is the lake close to your house? Jody, are you ok? How's school? We are going to be busy this weekend! Tonite the first football game of the season, get to see my baby girl drum! Tomorrow, DS has a race, my moms birthday, doing lunch with her, DH is having his fantasy football draft party tomorrow night. Sunday, steak fry at the beach house and Monday a cookout with friends and back to work tuesday! I'm tired! I hope everyone has a good holiday weekend if I don't make it here every day! Mary
 
Good Morning,

I did Turbo Jam Cardio Party 2, Ab Jam Standing Abs and 30 mins on the TM. This is the last Turbo Jam workout Monday I am starting XTrain again. My new wtd gloves arrived just in time the zipper broke on my old ones this morning.

Mary-we will be at the lake this weekend, we wanted to go today but DH is running late and the first K-State football game is on TV tonite so I know he wants to watch that.

Murphy-it use to irritate me when my DD's showed up unannounced and sit and try to talk to me while I was working out very hard to focus.
 
1.4 mile walk, didn't feel like doing my PT exercises but I did after I took a 1.5hr nap . I swear doing that plank work hurts my neck in back from having to hold up my head. No plans for long weekend hope to get some Cathe kb in
 
Did another Tracie Long, this time Susan Harris was the instructor. It was good. I forgot how these videos work those tiny muscles that we tend to forget about. I was thinking of getting rid of this set, but I do like the functional fitness aspect. Maybe I should work it into the Cathe rotation and see how it goes. Make it the active recovery stuff.

Good Morning,

Rant for the day: I didn't feel like doing a workout so I decided to go for a walk outside before it gets to hot. I live in a small town only the main streets are paved everything else is gravel so I decided to stay on one of the main roads and walk out of town and as I was walking all of a sudden a wet nose hits my elbow and claws dig into me I freak out turn around and its someones damn puppy, it just kept jumping on me and following me and tripping me up so I was pretty sure I knew where his home was the same people I had to help corrall their horse so I knock on the door and hand him over so by this time I am done so I start back to my house all of a sudden there he was again so by this time I am pissed so I turn around to walk him home again and here comes the owners so I waited until they had him and started to walk again on the gravel road and I get a rock in the heel of my shoe so I said piss on it and came home.

Murphy-glad you enjoyed your workout.
 
I'll come back later to update and read but wanted to post Intensity Lo Hiit and BC pm done and M2W2 D? Ba and Bi done except I skipped the rounds of concentration curls- I already felt biceptually complete and I'm in a hurry to go. I think I got all that done in about an hour. Skipped part of the w/u in Intensity and some of the last bits on the ground, was all warmed up for the STS disc and as stated I skipped the final blow up of concentration curls.

busy day today. 1.5 mile walk with dogs, came back and did MMA Boxing, that's good for moving my arms (that's what doc wants), and it works my core well (maybe those muscles will learn how to work with the realignment of my spine because of the surgery). During core work, I can't do that, so did my PT core ball work. Got creative during the drills (you know I don't mind toning it down. I think when I have time I'm goiing to do more KB stuff, for now that seems to be the best thing for me (step was a little too much even with no risers). Then tonight it was nice and cool so took a 1 mile walk with the dogs. Puppy training is coming along nicely, she knows to go to the back door to go out and DH said she came up to him in his office and gave him "the look" and sure enough she had to go out. The 2 are geting along good together.

Roxie, how irritating! I once had an incident with a BIG dog getting out (we think it got over a fence from snow drifts...yes I walka my dogs in the snow they love it). Anyway, my dog was scared, I couldn't manage carrying her AND making my way on the icey spots, thankfully a passing motorist stopped to help. I hope your day got better.

Jody, that sounds like a lot in one day, are you making up for lost days?

Murphy, I am learning about all those darn tiny muscles. PT says that's why stab ball is good for me for core work now because all the tiny muscles along the vertebrea need to learn to move a new way with my new body mechanics.

Mary, must be off having a busy long holiday. I think I remember Ronne doing something fun too (she always seems to have fun stuff).

Well apparently I decided before I turned 48 tomarrow I wanted to go tubing, I told DH not to pull to fast or do anything that would dump me, and I got to watch him ski.

Lisa-it was just really irritating it wouldn't go home and just kept jumping on me.
