I totally agree with what you say here but I am surprised you can keep muscle on your frame doing that much cardio. The second I let go of the cardio (only 3 times a week and under an hour each session) I dropped body fat like crazy. Even when I'm cutting my cardio stays around 3-3 1/2 hrs. per week and the body fat just melts off.
Diet is 85% of the battle and I truly believe this. You can lift and do cardio like a freak and not get anywhere until you know what your body wants as fuel. It took me a long time to get that right but now I think I have it down pretty well. I also eat at least 7 times a day on lifting days, 6 times a day on cardio days.
Are you training for another competition right now? Also, how old are you if you don't mind me asking.
