Good Morning
Missed ya'll been working alot again:( Hope everyone's workouts is doing good! Anyone following in of Cathe's or FF's rotations?
One more week of GS then maybe a week of endurance not sure yet:)
WED was my day off
Yesterday I did KM Blast Challenge only DM Total Body only, B&G ankle weight abs only, L&G ankle weight work only I always have one total body workout during the week.
Today is GS Chest and cardio. Oh and i just finished the 3rd day in column 3 on the hundred pushup challenge

Randi I'm following FF's Circuit Rotation for this month


Well my area is preparing for Hanna and the kids are getting out of school at noon, although I'm more fearful of those flash floods that may happen due to the amount of rain thats expected tonight esp with DH & DD on the road tonight ...both are working.

Hopefully Cold Stone will close early so my DD doesn't have to be out late since she closes tonight she'll be waiting to hear from the owner.


I have my PU's to do plus GS Legs.

Good Morning Randi, Vilma and all that follow.

Today is KPC. I have to get my car an oil change this morning and then after I will do my workout. I can feel some of Hannah over us, it's windy here and rainy (Great day for an oil change)

Randi: I'm following Cathe's Cardio Blast rotation this month.

Vilma: I will pray that everything will be ok for you all. I know TS and Hurricanes are not good! I think Ike is heading to Florida and that's making me nervous now.

Good Morning Ladies!

Today is PUB...one of my top five, can't wait to get started!
Yesterday was my rest day, all around...no workout, work was slowww, no bowling, no dancing.....I wandered aimlessly yesterday and went to bed super early..lol

Randi- I am in week 2 of FF's Muscle Building/Staying Lean Rotation...loving it! So...can you tell me more about the push up challenge you are doing? I desperately want to improve my PU endurance!

Vilma- you will be in my thoughts and prayers with Hanna approaching...in the meantime, how are you liking FF's Circuit rotation?

Ivy- Have fun with KPC!!!

Good Morning, Randi, Vilma, Ivy & Iris!!!

I made it through the night. My toe and foot actually felt MUCH better, since I finally was OFF OF IT for 8-ish hours. It looks nasty this morning, though. It's swollen like a little sausage, and swollen on the top of my foot, with this big nasty black & blue starting to show through. :confused: Nasty!

BUT...I'm bound and determined to do some kind of workout today. I'm planning on PUB w/abs. I really would like to try some upper body cardio, you know how doing all those punch combos REALLY get your HR up? I can maybe do a KB workout and do the upper body combos. We'll see... I do have to make a trip into the city to see Employee Health Service for 2:30 pm today. Might have to drive myself, since the boys will all be getting home from school then.

Randi: Nice to *see* you! Sorry you've been bombarded by work. How's your "UTI" symptoms going? Did that resolve? You got some GREAT workouts in. Cool you're doing the PU challenge too! I would love to undertake that once I can use my TOE, which I broke yesterday. :)()

Vilma: Hope the rain and wind isn't too bad today & your daughter can comehome ealry... I know we're supposed to get some of that Hanna on Saturday. Batten down the hatches!!

Ivy: Have fun with that oil change! (hate wasting time there, but it does give me opportunity to catch up on my reading). I bet KPC will be MUCH funner!

Chris: Thanks for all the advice yesterday..I started feeling alot better and I think it was just a bug. I still have a slight headache today. But, I think that is from my sore neck. I was carrying a bag of books home yesterday and it was a little heavy. My head felt great after some icy hot was applied this morning. So, I decided I didn't need the dr. Just some rest today. So, no workout for me today. If I am up to it tomorrow, I will get BM2 done. I am in no shape for that one today. I am going to lay down after I finish teaching the children..

Vilma: Stay safe..Praying for no flash floods!!

Randi: Nice to see you. Great job on those pushups. I am in awe of you. I need to work on those. I sill do more on my knees than toes!

Randi, I'm doing FF leg blast rotation. I really like her rotations. She mixes up the workouts and uses some premixes. Kind of like yours! I love your combo today!

Chris, so sorry about your toe! Hopefully it will continue to improve as much as it did overnight. Do you have any low-impact workouts like Leslie or something? I have some that I've used a couple times when I was hurting for some reason or another!

Vilma, stay safe and dry! We got the after effects of Gustav yesterday, just lots and lots of continual rain.

Ivy, hope Ike stays away from you!

Kathy, I didn't see the end of the thread yesterday (my Internet is out at home), but sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Take it easy for a day or two. I can't imagine tackling BM2 when not 100%!

I did PUB (ouch!) and PLB floor work this morning. I noticed that I am starving after a good weight workout. I probably need to be eating more protein afterwards or something. I going to do a run on the treadmill during lunch.

Tomorrow is Caitlyn's 6th birthday. We're having her party at the park district building. I still have alot to do, but at least I don't have to worry about cleaning the house! I realized I have about five errands to run and probably need to leave work early or it will never get done by 11:00 am tomorrow!

Tomorrow I may sub Amy Bento's new Rumble for KPC. Just got in the mail and want to try it.

Kathy, yeah take it easy today. I'm definatly practicing for all those push ups on STS!
Chris you broke your toe! How? Yeah my meds cleared up my uti:)
Ivy KPC is so cool the music always has me pumped!

Just finished my PU's & GS Legs - I used my weighted vest @ 10# along with the dbs and my purple dynaband so I am worked.

My PUs are coming along and so far all on my toes .... like I've said before I'm a PU wimp - I abhor them honestly but I'm working my way up so I'm happy to say I did them all 24 on my toes today I'm on Week 2 Day 3 Level 1 lol I tested for level 2 but that 1st round made me decide to stay with Level 1 no rush as I want to do them all on my toes; so slow & steady for me.... plus sometimes I can hear my shoulder joint crackle as I go down :eek:

Thanks All for the staying safe due to the weather so far today I'm going to be taking in our patio furniture off our deck and storing them inside the garage.

DH is at Wally World getting some stuff we may need. Losing power is a big possibility for us here, even in storms our power goes out so eh. Hopefully it won't happen but better to plan ahead right?

As I look out my window the sun is shinning but you can definitely see the clouds rolling in & the wind is picking up.

I'm esp. concerned about the warnings in our area for the flash flooding later on today since my DH has to drive to work and my DD also.

I was caught a few years back in a flash flood during daylight and it was scary as $hit so :( yeah.....

I would love for the owner to have the store closed early - I mean honestly with the inclement weather who in their right mind would want to go get ice cream towards midnight? DD is scheduled to work late tonight and to close up the store.

I made it through PUB! I'm so glad I could get a workout in, that has cheered me up considerably. Though I think about missing out on prime running time here, and it brings me right back down! It doesn't help that while I'm sitting here at the PC, I see college kids running by (although the shirtless hottie that just jogged by perked me up!

Kathy: Glad to hear you're feeling better. yeah, skipping BM2 is a GOOD decision. NOT to be done unless feeling PRIME. It's hard to decide sometimes, but listening to our bodies is the wisest thing!

Joanne: Yes, I love the premixes in FF's rotations too! And I loved yours , Randi! You both are the queens of premixes and how to use them!! I don't have much for low impact cardios, maybe a few Kathy Smith's. Oh I do have some old really low impact dancey ones too. We'll see how it goes, I guess. I might preview some of my kickboxing ones and see where i can do just punching combos. Yeah, PUB was tough for me too, especially the biceps, for some reason! I bet Caitlyns birthday turns out to be a blast. I like the idea of having it somewhere else too!!

Randi: Glad your UTI thingie is gone! Oh, I caught my 4th toe on a book or bookcase, just WALKING in my house. Wish it was something exciting, like bungie jumping, but alas, just boring WALKING. Had it xray'd yesterday, and broke it pretty good! Unbelievable!

Vilma: WOW, on the weighted vest and dynaband! YOu rock!!! MUCH better to be safe than sorry. We used to lose power for EVERY little thing too, when we first moved here. It has gotten better over the years. But i understand how you feel!

Hottie: Rest your buttocks , hope they feel better!

 
Quick checkin here as well --- I have tons to do, but of course would rather be here. Anyway, Chris, do you have access to an exercise bike? Maybe you could do that.

Hi!

Today was KPC and it was awesome! Time flew by when I was doing this workout. Tomorrow is supposed to be Power Hour, but I don’t have that DVD so I’m going to have to see what to do in sub for that one. It’s been raining here all day, and looks like it’s going to keep on.

Iris: Have fun with PUB!

Chris: I’m glad to hear you toe is feeling much better today! WTG on PUB! I think the arm drills from KB is a great workout for you to do while your toe is healing. The oil change took 40 mins! I do hate sitting there and wait. Especially with my DS because he gets bored.

Joanne: WTG on your workout! I hope Caitlyn has an awesome bday tomorrow! Let me know how you like Amy’s new KB workout!! The only one I have of hers is KBExtreme and I really like that one.

Randi: WTG on your workout today! The music in KPC gets me pumped too! I start kicking and punching harder, lol.

Vilma: WTG on your workout! I hope that your DD job closes early today! I can’t believe they might be opened till late at night! No one will want to get ice cream with the storm being there. Stay safe

I missed posting for a few days but here I am...like everyone its been a bit busy. First, the smiley's you have integrated into your post are awesome. Second, I joined weight watchers and I am impressed by the leader and group discussions so far....I really joined for the live support and not necessarily the nutrition part, although its great to have this information as a refresher.
If I don't get back on the board, I hope you all have an amazing weekend!!

Tonight I'm going to watch Prom Night (Horror:eek:) or Drillbit Taylor (comedy:D). I think I'm heading more towards horror though, lol. I can't wait!! Ohh and I'm having Nachos with the movie:eek:. Thanks for all the encouragement today ladies..I think a rest day was well needed. I am doing alot better and hope to be back to normal soon. Well, to be honest I missed not working out so I hope I am 100% tomorrow so I can tackle BM2!!!
 
Kathy, did you end up going to the dr. about your cut, or did you decide you just had a bug? Glad you got some needed rest!!
