Good Morning Girls,

I am always a bit ify about posting in the mornings cause I figure someone else is doing the samething at the sametime.:eek: :)
Well it is a little after 6 now so I only have 2 hours to go and then I am off for the weekend:) I fell asleep here last night before 12:eek: My boss would be so proud but I woke up off and on through out the night.Even though we are aloud to sleep, its never good sleep.One of my co-workers said that when she gets off of her last night shift she doesn't go to bed.I don't know if I could do that.Even if it is only going to bed for an hour.
Today is LM, GS BBS and S&H BBS...gonna be a long one, so I better go to bed for a while.
I hope everyone else had a good night and of course I will be checking in through out the day.It is cold here today....burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!:D

Good Morning Beautiful Women,

Yeah, I got on before there is too much chitter chatter. I always feel guilty when I cannot read everyone's post.

We got a new dresser last night so I have to take stuff out of old dresser and move things around. Grocery shopping to do too. It is raining like there is no tomorrow here, and we need it big time! Been so damn dry! Not cold though. Lori, I feel for ya as I hate the cold and could not live up there where you are at, but I know it is beautiful as can be as I have heard.

I am not sure what workout to do today. I have been arm wrestling the guys a few days ago and want to make sure my arms have been rested enough before I work them again so I have to figure out what I am going to be doing. I know I will be doing Core Max 1 and 2 at least. Body fat still at 14.6% and I have not been doing any cardio just eating to burn. Isn't it great to put the right food in your mouth and use it for your burning pleasure???? LOL!

Have a great day and workout everyone. I won't be checking in much today as I will be busy.

Good morning Lori and Charlotte. TGIF!!! I do get Saturday off but have to cover the second shift Sunday. YUCK! It isn't as bad as it could be, since I am a first shift person, my boss allows me to work 10:30 a.m. 'til 7 instead of 2:30 - 11. I couldn't work until 11 and then get up Monday morning and go to work!

Kim - that's good news about you getting to do KM. Just be careful! We don't want any setbacks!

Hello to everyone else. Kali - do you work today? Becky - I'll let you know how that sweet potato smoothie comes out.

Nancy - I haven't seen you on here much lately, are you doing okay? I heard the threat on the NY subways yesterday and my first thought was of you. Let us know how you are doing.

Yeah, you two are diffently that same build.Your a few pounds heavier but a couple inches taller so it all evens out.
Where do you live? I love the heat and would move in a heart beat but I do have all my family around so I guess it doesn't matter how cold I am;) Summer is never long enough.
Im not feeling to tired today but every other shift I work, I end up working a flight around 7:45 b/c the other girl in NEVER here on time.Why can't people show up 10 mins early? You only got to get up 10 mins earlier!So I have to actaully do work before I go home;(

Good Morning Fitness DIVAS!!

How is everybody today?
I seem not as sore as yesterday (its not gone yet though!!!) so I am going to do GSBBS and the coremax that I left off yesterday. Also need to cut the grass, so there's some cardio. I still haven't seen LOST because I taped it, so maybe I'll watch on my bike or treadmill later.

KIM , HOORAY FOR YOUR accomplishment!!! Sorry I wasn't here to give you a big high five last night!! I'm glad things are finally coming along for you!!:D

TGIF!! What's everyone got planned for the weekend???

Feeling very good thanks Becky. The prednisone has really knocked out the inflammation but, you know, it isn't a long-term fix. I stay on it as short a time as possible. Long-term steroid use has its own set of problems.

Okay, today is gonna be cardio & coremax day for me. I'm gonna do Step Fit...Only tried it once and didn't finish it. I remember getting frustrated with the choreo. but that was quite some time ago and I've gotten better so hopefully I can see it through today. :)

Tonight we are dropping Joey off at DH's cousin's house. Him and his wife want to take him overnight so we will drop him around 7pm but we're gonna visit for about an hour when we go. After that DH goes to bowling and momma comes home to enjoy a relaxing evening. :+

Good luck with Step Fit. I find that sometimes I can go back to ones I had trouble with and breeze through it after doing Cathe's more difficult ones for a while. Yesterday MIC step, which I had only done a couple times, was a piece of cake. Didn't mess up once on choreography and really enjoyed it! :)

No running or even walking with the lawn mower today.......I looked outside and it's raining! So I guess it's the stationary bike in front of LOST this morning instead.
Also will be baking banana bread and pumpkin bread (will replace oil with applesauce) and also make some homemade applesauce today.
It's chilly and raining.......a great day to stay inside and make it a kitchen day!:p

Now it's time for GS BBS. Wish me and my sore muscles luck!!!
If you hear me screaming............weights were NOT a good idea for me today!:p :eek:
 
Hey girls,

I am a little later posting today because kids are out of school so I didn't have to get up quite as early. I am still sore from GSCT That thing is killer! And it didn't feel good to the upper body to do KM with all the punches and jabs! But I was glad to even do it. I only did the low impact version so I did no jumping around at all. My foot was okay, and the therapist want me to do alittle with it as long as it doesn't hurt. But I will do bike today because I don't want to push it! And its amazing how I couldn't do a full toe raise monday and I can now! Maybe that medicine they send through my skin and starting to work along with the stretches.



Will try to read all of the posts before I go to work, but if not I will surely read them this after noon. I will be doing GSBSB, bike and 2 segs. of coremax.

Hi Girls!

Sorry I haven't posted much here lately - school has me busy and I was fighting off a cold, so wasn't working out too much. I'm feeling better today though, so I'll probably do a KPC combo w/ L&G.

Holy crap Charlotte, your bf is 14%!? Sounds like you are trying to raise it(?) I wish I had that luxury! Lol. We did hydrostatic weighing (underwater bf testing) for school the other day - it was really interesting and kind of fun, although you have to exhale all the air in your lungs, and then go under water for 6-10 seconds and be as still as possible (easier said than done). After doing out the equation with my numbers I came up 17.9%, better than the really high number I came up with at first - math error, thank goodness ;-)

Becky, I LOVE pumpkin bread :9 can I come over? I make pumpkin bread for thanksgiving and xmas but it never comes out as good as when my mom makes it. I never was much of a baker - my dh can attest to that.

Hi ladies!

I know I haven't been around much lately. I had a lot of catching up to do after the wedding. I can't believe how much time all that fussing used up. I was so behind at work, it got a little scarey. But I'm almost back up to date now enough that I don't have to work this weekend.

And it's a 3-day weekend!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy about having a whole 3-day weekend where I don't have to go to the office, that I could plotz! Here I come gym! Oh, how I love having time to work out......

Hey everyone.

Nancy~have fun shopping! I'm sooo jealous! }(

Being an SAHM is really messin' with my brain! I had NO idea it was a holiday w/e until I saw it mentioned a gazillion times on the boards and just before reading Nancy's post I realized WHAT holiday it was! LOL

Step Fit and Coremax # 1 are done!:7

Step Fit is one long work out! Holy moly! lol Do you all consider that final step segment that she calls a cool down as part of the cardio or not? I didn't this time but I am wondering if I should in the future??? I only ask because that will affect my HRM readings.

So anyway, it was really wierd....I felt fine after my work out. I drank my water and got some food and I brought it back to the computer and sat down with it but after one bite I suddenly felt nauseous as heck :eek: so I got up and drank more water and sat back down and had a few more bites of my snack and after just a couple of minutes the feeling was gone??? Don't know what brought that on!

Well, time to wipe the ickiness off of me and get my baby out of bed and feed him. After that it's shower/bath time for BOTH of us but I am going first!:+ I want to shower now but I had to eat something and now I'm out of time. x(

Sounds like everyone is doing good and off to a great start today. I only slept for an hour but that was long enough.I won't sleep tonight if I sleep in to late today.

Wendy- You have the night to yourself? Becareful you don't make another baby}( I bet you will be bored, itas amazing how they fill up your time when they arrive and you are never sure what you did with your time before you had them.

Charlotte- I know your not around much today but there was something else I was gonna add.Its to bad that they have boyfriends so quickly.I mean its the way the world is and no one is going to change it.But in the end we spend so much time with a SO and our family and our girlfriends really do come last, plus most times you lose touch over the years.Its to bad that teens didn't appreciate the time they have with their girlfriends more and put boys on the backburner for a while.Its to bad you don't realize this until your older.You don't expect them not to have boyfriends but more times then not, they get totally wrapped up in a new beau, I know I did.Im surprised my friends took me back when we would break up.

Shannon- Nice of you to stop by:) I wish I knew what my bf was.How does everyone check theirs, besides for the water thing?I am guessing mine would be around 20%.

Becky - start freezing sweet potatos!!! This smoothie is the best yet!! The texture is so creamy! I tried it without cinnamon and it was good, just like a piece of sweet potato pie, then I put some cinnamon in it and like it that way too!!
 
Hi Jane! Did you post new smoothies recipes and I missed it? :) I briefly thought I saw an almond joy one but I think my eyes may have decieved me :) Wishful thinking maybe... Are you feeling better?
