<--yesterday's layoff was very unexpected and took everyone by surprise
<--had a long talk with the owner of the company yesterday late afternoon and she explained the reasoning for the layoff and how they determined who would go and who would stay
<--feels much better about the future of company as well as her part in it
<--still feels bad for those who lost their jobs but feels less guilty about keeping hers.
