Hardcore Fitness Maniacs June 2025

Today I could not get my Pyramid Upper Body DVD to load, why? So instead, I did STS 2.0 Upper Body workout number 1 and had a great workout. I ended up doing some extra Bicep exercises because I think the segment is too short in this workout.

Debbie, great job with the boxing workouts and using the egg weights. I miss the boxing workouts, I need to go on YouTube and do one, she has several that I can do for free. My son went to school for Economics and Finance and got a master's in finance. He works for a Military contractor to the Government and does high level finance for equipment ect. Not bad for 24 years old! He is trying to get a job in Norway or Germany right now; he wants to travel the world while he is young. My youngest son is an electrician and loves it.

Diane, great job with the Pilates fusion workout! I hope you are feeling better.

Half the country has high temps and we are lower than normal here on the west coast at the beach. Make it a great day.

Today I did zoom dance classes again. Love those. We are getting into more advanced dance routines. So fun!

Diane - how are you feeling ? Great job on your workout. My appointment got canceled. I hope they will get me another appointment soon.

Good Evening,

Well thought we were going to hames the last two nights but rain has postponed them so I again restarted the Bodi workouts and lowered my weight on lower body to take the stress off my back and because of 90-100 degree temperatures I haven’t walked.

Debbie-what Jolie said my cardiologist suggested Gatorade or Powerade to get my electrolytes balanced to help my heart rate.

Today I did CDorner Sweaty All Standing Hiit with bands, 27 minutes, 181 calories, heart rate 140/176, 1,942 steps. I did not have a lot of time this morning because I had to run some errands. I also did a stretch afterward.

Debbie, great job on the Raw Box and Tone and Box and Tubing today. Those are fun workouts. My back is better, but I still wake up feeling discomfort, not as bad though. When I am up moving around it feels pretty good. Hopefully it all goes away.

Jolie, good job on the STS 2 Upper Body workout. Maybe the Pyramid disc has dust or something on it. I have had that happen before.

Belinda, I bet that is fun learning all of the dance moves and progressing to more. I am sorry the cancelled your appointment. I never had that happen till recently and my arthritis doctor just cancelled it without saying anything. I contacted them and they said he was going to be gone that day and they rescheduled.

Roselyn, nice work on nice work on the bodi lower body workout.

I did 25 Min Speed Training Upper Body this one is tough each move is 60 seconds 3 times through with 15 second rest followed by a burnout band move.

Rotational Row-10lb
Band Arrow Pulls used yellow
Chest Press-10lbs
Over Head Pullovers Yellow band
Lateral Raise-8lbs then dropped to 5 then 3 these are tough
Lateral Raise Pulse with Yellow band
Bicep Curls-8lbs dropped to 5
HammervCurl Pulse with Yellow band.

My arms are toast. Headed to the lake it’s going to be in the 90’s again today.

Today I did Triceps & Biceps from Strong & Sweaty Ramped Up Upper Body. Had a really good workout and once again I paused a bit longer during the workout. She just moves way too fast.

Triceps
Close Grip Bench Press:
20's - 8/12 reps
Dips: 32 fast reps/16 fast reps
Lying Triceps Extensions: 12's - 3 sets/8/4/8 reps
Standing Overhead Extensions: 12's - 1 sets/10 reps
Banded Kickbacks: 15# Band

Biceps
Hammer Curls:
20's - 12 reps
Sweeping Curls: 15's - 12 reps
Isolation Curls: 12's - 4 reps but lots of isolation holds throughout
Standing Bicep Curls: 15's - 12 reps
Banded Crazy Eights: 20# Band - 2 sets

Workout was 31 minutes, burned 125 Calories, HR was 94/138.

Then I walked on my treadmill for 32 minutes, burned 215 calories, did 1.5 miles, went 3668 steps and HR was 121/149.

Jolie - I think the first boxing workout I did yesterday is a free one on her Youtube channel. It's a good one. Wow, your son seems to have many opportunities. I sure hope he finds what he wants. That is awesome!! Great job with your workout, sorry your Pyramid DVD didn't work. Maybe clean it, sometimes mine do that just when they have dust on them.

Belinda - Great job with your dance workouts. Sounds like fun!!

Roxie - That workout series you are doing looks intense. Lift 4, that's the series we did. Those were awesome workouts. Wish we can buy them on DVD. Yes, I have been drinking an 8 oz glass of water with Nuun sport hydration in it making sure there is no caffeine in the Nuun. I've been drinking it right before my workouts. It makes a heck of a difference.

Diane - Great workout yesterday, glad you are feeling better. Seems when we sleep or relax things start to hurt. Probably because we are not moving around.

This morning I did RAW Upper Box/Lower Tone and loved it. This one has excellent 80's music in it. Fun combos. I used my 1.5# egg weights and lower body was just using the egg weights and body weight. Very fun workout. It had her warming up on a rebounder but since I don't have one I just did moves she usually does in a warmup.

50 seconds on/10 off

- R/L (balance comes in here big time)

Workout was 31 minutes, burned 259 calories, HR was 13/175.

Then I walked on my treadmill for 23 minutes, burned 162 calories, went 1.11 miles, did 2697 steps and HR was 122/139.

I don't have time for personals, I am going to my heart doctor to get that recorder and will have to deal with that for two weeks. At least there is no cassette player anymore. And I can wear it in the shower, so that's cool.

Yesterday I walked the pup 2.3 miles in the am and 2 miles in the pm. Today's workout I did Cathe's Pure Strength Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and had an excellent workout. I love her older workouts because she goes slow and controlled, I never got injured back when I was lifting at this pace. This weekend I will do the Back and Biceps workout. Tomorrow will be a walk and then a chiropractor appointment to get my knee adjusted. Ever since I started using Nicotine Patches, my inflammation has gone down and I have very little pain in my joints anymore. Yeah!!! You should try them and they are now proven to be really good for your nervous system and brain as well.

Debbie, great job with the workout and good luck at the Cardiologist today.

Belinda, nice job with the dance workout again, I bet those fly by quickly since you are having so much fun. Also, how is that Paired Upper Body workout? I might subscribe to Live workouts again soon.

Today I did CDorner Arms with Bands (mini loop) 22 minutes, 118 calories, heart rate 117/ 147 followed by CDorner 80's Aerobics high or low impact 40 minutes, 261 calories, heart rate 136/159. Total time 62 minutes, 379 calories, 4,451 steps. Yesterday I did not get a workout in. I went with my husband to drop off his car for some work and we ran to a pet store and lunch while waiting.
I had a terrible night sleep last night. My sinuses hurt and my throat felt like there were sores. I have been taking an expectorant because of congestion and drank loads of water all day. It is somewhat better this afternoon. At least not the throat pain. I took the MTX Tuesday night and wondered if it had something to do with it, but I have had the congestion off and on the last two weeks. Not the sore feeling in the back of my throat though.

Debbie, great job on Raw Box/tone today along with treadmill walk. I hope the cardiologist appointment went well.

Jolie, nice work on the walks and Pure Strength Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps.

Roxie, nice job on the 25 minute cardio core circuit.

Bellinda, good job on the zoom class today. It is hot and humid here today too. We just had a downpour which makes that worse. Harvey likes to go outside and play fetch in the rain.

Today I did JS TB circuit 1. She started a 4 week challenge. Today was day 1. Not sure If I will follow it for a month? We shall see.

Diane - good job on your arms with bands workout. Sounds like a good one. That is great that Harvey likes to catch and play outside in the rain. None of my dogs liked to go outside in the rain. Sorry you dealing with sinus and your throat. Was Tuesday your first time taking MTX?

Hello! It's been a loooonnng time since I checked in - life got busy but Belinda reached out on FB and encouraged me to pop in and say hello!

Looks like you all all still crushing your workouts! Way to go!

Life is setting down some so I may try to pop in more frequently again and catch up with you all! Have a great weekend and holiday week if anyone is doing anything fun before the 4th!!

Sorry no check in yesterday. Our power kept going out till late afternoon and then my computer decided to be slow, do an update that did not finish till this morning. I was trying to pay bills etc. so really miffed.
Anyway, I did Boss Bands yesterday from my tablet since I have a few workouts downloaded there. I skipped chest and core. I need to figure out best core exercises for vertebrae issues. This was 55 minutes, 213 calories. Fireworks are already being used. Fortunately, Harvey did not seem worried. We played ball and you could hear a lot going on. It was so much I wondered if it was something in town.

Belinda, yes, that was the first time I took the mtx.
 
Today I did CDorner 30 minute Advanced Step, 174 calories, heart rate 126/145, 2202 steps followed by CDorner 12 Days of Abs day 4 Lower abs, 14 minutes, 41 calories. Total time 44 minutres, 215 calories.
