I want to respond to Stacy's questions but I'm not sure how much help I will be. I am also a meso body type and I gain muscle fairly quickly. There are times I do look bulky and I sort of think I'm getting that way now. However, I know women can't really get too bulky, so I'm not really worried about it. I'm just happy my muscles are showing again.
I'm walking on my treadmill only to help me get my steps in each day. I am trying to get 10,000 in a day and if I don't walk at least a mile or two on my treadmill, I never make it. When you are doing BB you aren't supposed to do much cardio so I may do one Cardio Coach workout a week but other than that, I only walk.
Just watch your calories and what you eat. I am eating way too many carbs but it doesn't seem to be hindering my progress. Luckily my body loves carbs and it seems to burn them fast. That being said, I still want to get more protein in because I need to. And that helps me with my abs.
I used to lift weights only and I hardly did any cardio because I hated cardio. Now I find I love to do both so I try to keep a good balance. My body responds well to weight training and I'm able to keep my definition by just lifting, but I do like cardio so I try to get some in each week.
I'm sure this didn't answer anything you asked, but this is what I do. Hopefully it helps some.
