Freddy's Shoes?? Ever heard of them?

Wow, they were great with shipping, weren't they? I am really glad you got them and that you like them! Do you think the Pro Trainer will handle hi impact better than the Hi-impact trainer? What do you like better about the Pro trainer? I am really wanting to find some fantastic shoes. I like my Ryka's but they are just a tad too big. I wish they would have had 1/2 size smaller! So I am going to order the Freddy's soon! I am really anxious to hear your workout experience with them.

Linda

Remember before you order that you have to order a size smaller - i.e., if you are a 7.5 order 7.0 (or 38 order 37).
I really love them too and have decided to take out the orthotics since I don't appear to need them (I actually feel the inserts as an irritation and not as support right now). I think you will find that the shoes get even more form fitting and comfortable during a workout as well. The Pro Trainer lazy laces are the best as well especially for tightening up in different areas of the foot (I prefer open in the toebox and tighter around the heel and it does that great). Good Luck. Enjoy.

Okay.... I absolutely LOVE the shoes! I did cardio with them today and they felt wonderful. The funny thing is you forget about them. They just fit your foot, offer so much support and cushion. I did some step and Mindy's hi/low. On the hi/low I felt as though I could jump to the ceiling:)

Ya' know how I said the heal is low. Well, when you are working out ya' don't even notice. It just puts your foot in such a natural position for step, aerobics etc. Tons of cushion, tons of support. I was able to crank the laces and they didn't even make my feel fall asleep. I love all the room in the forefront of the shoe.

I have the 5.5's and could probably actually use a 1/2 size smaller. I am going to return the hi impact trainers and get a size 5 in the Pro Trainers.

These are the ones I have. I guess they are called the Hi-Impact Pro Trainers. http://store.yahoo.com/usbody/hiimprotrain.html Mine are black and look really cool!

I also bought the regular hi-impact trainers but don't like them as much. They don't seem to be as cushioning but they are still good. I just like the Pro's better!

I am sooooo happy I finally found a pair of quality shoes I like. I have looked EVERYWHERE!

Thanks so much Sheila for your great advice!

That is exactly how I felt when I got mine after reading a post from Felicia.
I am glad you love them. I agree with liking the Pro's better since I too have the regular hi-impact trainers.
I think I will be using them for weight work since they are flexible.
Having a shoe in black was just icing on the cake. They do look really good and they feel great too!
I actually told Freddy salespeople that I don't want to shop anywhere else when they called to tell me the order I made in December was going to be delayed because the order was coming from Italy via ship and I ordered another pair.

Hello all,
I've been reading this discussion and now I'm really interested in getting some Freddy's Hi impacr pro trainers. I have two questions. How heavy are they and what is the arch like? I have high arches. Do the pro trainer's have good lateral support? Oops, I guess that is 3 questions!
-joy

The arches are very supportive (that's usually my biggest problem) and they have amazing lateral support.

They are VERY light and you truly forget you even have them on. They almost fit like a sock. Really different than even the Ryka's. I have high arches too.

I love them and probably won't buy anything different for a very long time!!!!!!

Sheila...okay, I will remember about the size being smaller. Especially since you have to order so much larger with Ryka's!

FitNut...I am really glad they worked well! Nothing better than a comfortable shoe! Especially one that lets you jump painfree! So, I guess Pro-Trainer, it is!

Thanks for both of your information!

Linda

FitNut!

With all your excitement about these shoes, I wanted you to know that I CAVED and ordered a pair!

Just thought I'd let ya know!

I'm excited!!

Dani - I am excited for you! Which ones did you get? I sure hope you end up liking yours as much as I. I will feel so bad if you don't!

Hopefully they will be here soon!

I oredered the ones you did I think. The black Hi Impact Pro Trainers? Size 5.5 (I usually wear a 6)

I'm sure I'll like them! They look very cool too! I can't wait to get them!

Danielle can you let me know how they are when you get them? Im curious. So Fitnut how are the shoes doing for you?

I tried them out...

I got my Freddy's yesterday and I tried them this morning with boot camp. (the shoes worked well on the squat thrust climbers -ugh) Honestly I think it has been so long since I had a pair of shoes that truly fit me that I really cannot tell if these do. I don't know if they are too big! (how can anyone be so dumb?) I ordered a 9 because I have been using Ryka 9's which are a little short but the 9 1/2 seemed a little long. Now my feet felt okay during the workout, although I didn't like the feel of the sole with static lunges - but that's okay. And my feet feel great now - 4 hours after the workout. It doesn't seem like anything rubbed or chafed anywhere. I'm anxious to try them with an all cardio workout which should be tomorrow am.

I got them!!

Fitnut!

I got them and I ordered a half size smaller (5.5) than I usually wear in other shoes and they fit perfect!! They are so light weight it's like I'm not even wearing shoes. They felt great working out too. They are also the coolest looking workout shoes I've ever seen. I ordered the black ones!!

Thanks!!!!

RE: I got them!!

Go with the 8.5 since they do run big.
Try them out and make sure they fit so you can return them if they don't. You can always get 2 different sizes and return the one that does not fit.
