Freddy's Shoes?? Ever heard of them?

RE: I got them!!

It seems like when I go to the Freddy's website, that they are having problems. How much do they charged for shipping?

RE: I got them!!

I agree, get a 1/2 size smaller. Even with ordering 1/2 size smaller the front of the shoe is roomy but it's supposed to be that way. The shoe stays on really good, is very comfy and looks great too!

RE: I got them!!

If you are ordering from the Freddy website, be careful because sometimes the web site does not work. You may wish to call the customer service number and ask if they got the order. I think shipping costs are reasonable but verify with the customer service rep. The other website that handles Freddy is the USBodyware.com (http://store.yahoo.com/usbody/aerobicshoe.html).

RE: I got them!!

Now my husband wants to order a pair. He likes the camo ones. Do you think I should order a size smaller for him too? Maybe I will just order 2 each for us and what ever one fits just send the others back.

RE: I got them!!

I'm not sure about the men's sizes. I agree with Shelia about calling and making sure your order goes through. I called the next day and the guy was so nice. He said that they had already shipped it out that morning. I was so surprised. He said he remembered me because my last name is so long. ;)

I also ordered the Hi Impact Pro Trainers from the website Sheila mentioned above.

The shipping was around $4.00. Very reasonable.

RE: I got them!!

Well I just went and order the high impact pro trainer in a size 9 the size that I usally wear. They told me that they did correct the usa size so we will see, if they don't fit I will just order the 8 1/2. I also order my husband his shoes. It was free shipping on orders over $100. Now I can't wait until I get them. Oh I got them in black.

RE: I got them!!

I ordered a pair too, in black. The high impact pro trainer. I usually take an 8 and a half, but I ordered an 8. I hope the website works. I did not get an e-mail confirmation though.

I need some better shoes, and these sound like IT!

RE: I tried them out...

Well, I am Italian and Freddy is everywhere here but I have never tried them !!!!!:+
Which of course I am going to do after all this thread !:7

My question is : what about LATERAL support ?
I need shoes with a lot of it also because I am going to use them for my BOSU wos....

Do U feel the lateral support is very good ????

Thanks

Samantha

RE: I got them!!

Connie, I called in my order. They were so polite. Now Im wondering if I should have order the 8 1/2. The guy said when they first came to the USA the size weren't correct but that they did correct it to USA, we will see. Maybe I should called them back and also get the 8 1/2 too, just to compare them.

RE: I tried them out...

I do think the lateral support is good. I really like the shoes for the impact technology since I have had difficulty with my feet, achilles heel issues until I started using these shoes. I would try them out when you get them but don't take the tags off until you make up your mind. I love the lazy laces since you can tighten them around the heel and keep it looser around the toe box (I have wide feet). The shoes will feel better after using them 5 to 10 minutes since they seem to get more form fitting after the warm up and then you don't really notice them.
Good Luck.

RE: I tried them out...

Samantha - I have the pro trainers. They have the best lateral support of any shoe I have had in a LONG time! Trust me, I am a clutz and in these shoes I sure don't feel like one. I feel so stable etc. Particularly when I step up on the step. They feel really cool. After they break in a bit they are almost like a sock. They fit so snug around your foot but are so light in weight and offer great support! Really different than any shoe I have ever tried. I am glad I found them!

Maybe I should be their marketing rep? Ha ha ha ha ha! I sound like a sales gal!

RE: I tried them out...

Thanks ! I think I will give them a try !
Here for me it is almost impossible to get decent cross trainers so I hope Freddy will be my new resource !!!!!
Thanks again for helping me,
:+ Samantha

Hi fitnut and everyone else, I just got my sneakers today, yippi. They are comfy. They are roomy on the top of the foot which I like, maybe that is one of the reason my feet always fall asleep. I haven't tried them with any excerise yet but will tomorrow. I will let you know. Hey Connie did you get your sneakers yet? If so how do you like yours? I got my in a size 9 which I normally wear and I think they fit perfect. Sometimes a nine is alittle small but if i go to a 9 1/2 they are too big! So I guess Freddy's are perfect. I do have about 1/4 inch from the toe which is good so now I don't feel my toes hitting. Oh I forgot I did order 2 pairs 1 for me and 1 for husband, when I got the UPS box, omg was the box light so I was thinking wow these are 2 pairs in the box and the box was light like a feather. These are the lightest sneakers I've seen. Im happy about that. Well just wanted to share and say thank you fitnut for bringing this subject up:) .

i'm in the market for new shoes and saw this post - I'm a size 8.5 in Ryka (Cirrus) and 9.0 in running shoes (Saucany, Mizano)...but I can go either way with dress shoes...what size do you recommend? I think I'm going to give these Freddy shoes a try! (I'm pretty displeased with my last pair of Rykas - Stylus).

I'm thinking the pro trainer high impact ones are the way to go.
Thanks!

Freddy Shoes tend to run big. I usually wear an 7.5 in most shoes/sneakers and I order a 7 in Freddy's. I just got my most recent order in and I love the Pro trainer high impact myself (If those are the ones with the lazy laces).

Good luck and I would call in the order or at least call them and see if they received your order because sometimes the web ordering does not work as well.

Thanks
Sheila C.

Thanks! I just placed my order for a pair of the pro-trainers in 8.5. shipping was just 6 bucks so if it doesn't work out I can send them back for not a lot of $$. I did try to reach them yesterday during business hours but just got the answering machine. Will try again monday.
