Daily CheckIn: Thursday, August 25

All right, I'll do it next week. I have a hard time resisting a challenge.;)

So tell me what upper body you did in place of the lower in the second round of the power circuit segment of BM?

*BM power circuit 2nd time with the following UB exercises plugged in (instead of lower body): chest press/push ups/one arm rows/rear delt flies/military shoulder press/bent arm lat. raise/long lever side lat. raise/bicep curls-traditional,hammer,crazy 8s/tricep kickbacks.

I did them with Cathe as these exercises come straight from the BM upper body segment. I used mix n match to get to what I wanted to do after each cardio portion was done....but by all means, do whatever exercises suit you! :)

It really wasn't that bad...having to pause to find the upper body work I wanted to do gave me a chance to breathe. ;)

Afternoon Everyone,

Today will be 3 mile run plus MM and PLB Stability Ball segment.

Oldest DD had try-outs for the swim team, and made the Silver Squad. The coaches where impressed with her butterfly. Of course the one stroke she doesn't like. :D

Have a great day!

Ooooooooooh, I understand! I have BM on VHS, so I will either have to do them from memory, or make some up:)

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel weird calling it BM?:p

Hi everyone,

This morning I did KickMax combos 1-4 and MM lower body premix.

Laurie - I hope you have good weather for your week off. I can't believe September is so close, either! I've actually started baby-prep, so maybe I'll actually be ready when she decides to make her appearance.

Annette - so great to hear that the nodule is nothing worry about. :) Yes, I already have a 5 year old daughter, and the 18 week ultrasound with this baby indicated probably another girl. Thank you for your well wishes :)

Wendy - that's quite the workout you did today! You're going to have to start planning a memorial for all these pounds you must be losing.

Jane - oooh, let us know how you like HS Challenge. I managed to do that once before the pregnancy was too far advanced for it. I really, really liked it.

Dutchie - LOL about the cookie comment. Perhaps you were more active before your new job than you realized you were?

Carole - yes, it is only a matter of time now, and I have to say that I'm getting impatient. I have a hard time concentrating on my work, or being motivated to do much. I just want to sit here and wait for labour to start. But, I don't have the luxury of doing that (which is probably a good thing).

Shelley - you've done some great workouts this week! And kudos for being able to do a one-arm push up!!! I think those require a very strong and stable core, n'est pas? Yes, my workouts feel just a bit harder every week, so I just keep lowering the intensity (and my expectations). But I know that just getting some movement every day is keeping me feeling good. I woke up this morning with a left hip that was killing me. KickMax combos and MM lower body premix got the blood into the muscles and the joints loose again, and now it's not bothering me at all. Exercise good! And yes, I've gained 40 pounds with this pregnancy. I look forward to working out again *without* all this extra weight, and big belly getting in the way of my kicks!

MJ - welcome to the check in! And seeing results is a great thing. Good work!

Have a great day everyone,
Sandra

Yesterday and this morning I did the treadmill for about an hour. I haven't been feeling that great lately. Tomorrow is Lowmax and GS C &T.

Hi there. Didn't check in yesterday. I did SJP yesterday and then RS and Coremax this morning. RS went much better this morning with the 8" rather than the 6", but I still feel like it's missing some intensity. Hopefully once I have the choreography down perfectly I can get a little more intense with it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Katie
