Today I did LMR2 elevated lower body for 40 minutes.

Linda - Wowza on your variety this morning!
Annette - Great news about your heart rate and no need to worry. Does this mean you can go back fully to the sled?
Nora - I love PP lower body! It's fast paced for a heavy weight workout.

Hi ladies,

Siobhan, I had changed up what I was doing on the sled for the sake of needing a change. But yes, I can do what I want with the sled. I mean if my heart starts racing or I become short of breath again I obviously I need to slow down and listen to my body.

Today was a gym circuit consisting of the shoulder machine with 25 one each side. Then I did some cable work for shoulders and upper back, I did lat pulldowns starting at 40 pounds going up to 85 pounds. Then high rope pull from 90 skipping 20 pounds up to 130 pounds.

Then 10 and 12.5 pound dumbbells for shoulder press, side laterals (10's only), Arnold press, shoulder press and seated clean and press and shrugs.

Then I did the incline leg press for presses and calf work. First with no weight and then with 1 45 plate on each side.

Then the sled. Shoulder strap pulled 1 plate, then back with 2 same thing. Put 3 on and switched out for the rope, pushed it out and then hand over hand pulled the sled to me.

Then floorwork for abs, legs and glutes with some weighted exercises and a stretch.

Ended up being 75 minutes long.

I may feel the cable work later.

No workout for me today, I'm coming down with a cold or something, and its wiped me out. Not sure if I can rally to workout tomorrow either. We'll See.

Nora, sorry to hear you aren't feeling well! Enjoy the "off" day
 
Today I was able to do my first workout. I did LMR Functional Lower Body for 53 minutes. I had to sub a few of the exercises because I cannot do any leg rotations like the crossbacks. I was happy to see I got through the entire workout. I had originally thought I would only be able to do the warmup intro but continued through. I think this is what will work best for me at this time. Still no jumping, etc. and I am really grateful for the LMR series.
Feels so good to be able to do something.
