Hey Mariangeles.

Since I'm up (not by choice-see the "GRRR" thread.), I might as well check in.

Today is a full body weight work out, extra cardio and abs.

(OOOH, it got quiet outside...maybe I can go to sleep now! :) )
 
Good morning Mariangeles and Wendy and all who follow,

Yesterday morning: S&H Triceps plus warmup and stretch (still using progressive overload for upper body)
Yesterday late afternoon: Firm Lower Body Split for my freestyle leg work and StretchMax #3...in between cleanMax and errand Max.

Note: Firm Lower Body Split is a great freestyle workout except for the stretch. 70 minute workout with about 52 minutes of standing and floor leg work that fits the philosophy of freestyle. Lots of lunges and dips (about 6 sets) plus side lunges, plie squats with variations I haven't seen in Cathe, a lower focus on squats and sit and stands but they are still included, and leg press and step ups. Nice floor work section too all punctuated by short cardio drills as a break bewteen sections (plyos, kicks)and then abs and a stretch. Need to add your own stretch as the one included in the workout stinks.The stretches are held for only about 2-3 s.

This morning: GymStyle biceps with warmup and stretch.
This afternnon: GymStyle Back and leg floorwork and stretch from Kari Anderson's Dance Works is on schedule. I pulled this video out of retirement when I started freestyle. The floor work and stretch are excellent and geared towards dance training. The cast is made up of members from a ballet company in the Pacific Northwest. The rest of the day, I have more cleanMax on schedule plus I have to go in to work for a few hours.

Wendy-hope you got some rest so you can get that workout in! How was your SIL's? Have fun?

Cathy-that Kari Anderson sounds like a fun tape. I love anything geared toward dance training. I did it up until 2 years ago and I can tell you there is something totally different about dancing. I guess maybe because you work the muscles differently. Think I'll look into something like that too. It will be less of a hassle than taking class with a bunch of 18 year olds!

I got thru ME yesterday finally around 1pm! I was like a bowl full of Jello when I got done. I feel great today tho. Today will be a walk, and Freestyle work.

Good Morning Everyone!

No workout yesterday (just have trouble fitting them in on weekends, ugh!) But am leaving to walk "death hill" with DH now. Then will get additional exercise , helping him with a job he is doing cutting bushes, cutting and trimming grass.

Can anyone tell me what the individual P90X dvds cost? That site is confusing and I can never find a cost for anything on it!! Also, which workouts require additional equiptment (over what we already have to do Cathe workouts), because I am not buying anything else right now......no space!! No towers or bars...etc.. Band or tubing would be okay. :p

Hi eveyone,

Quick post as I'm running late: supposed to be at a friend's house 15 min ago.

Did 30min of Imax2 (1-5). On my new rubber tile flooring :) Most noticeable difference was with the genie hops. No more painful jolts in my right knee when doing those hops.

Added GS ba/bi/s timesaver. No abs. Maybe tonight when I'm back.

I am the wrong person to ask. I am having problems getting my Power90x from beachbody, although I was told if it doesn't arrive by Wednesday, I will get a refund. This doesn't sound like a problem except I just found out that I was double charged for my order. I just got off the phone with my credit card company. I don't think I will ever do buisness with Beachbody again.
If you are still interested, you just go to beachbody.com and click on power90x. Add it to your shopping cart and don't click on the extras that may come up. This workout does not automatically come with the tower etc, you have to specify that. If it comes with any freebies, that will automatically be included.

Today will be Chest/Back, Shoulder and a 6 mile run in the evening.

Mariángeles...good cardio workout.

Wendy...I read the GRR thread...luckily for us our neighbor married off his last daughter last year. He always has the weddings at his house and of course the LOUD party after!! He has 4 daughters!!! Hope you can get in a nap...

Cathy...you have some great workouts for Freestyle. I haven't pulled out any of my old Firms as I still use a Cathe workout a couple of times a week for Freestyle.

Kali...good job with ME, it does have that "jello" effect!

Becky...hopw you enjoy your walk today.

Dutchie...thats great about the flooring!! I am glad it make your knee feel better.

Yesterday I did Meaner Legs and GS Back & Biceps..today I am going for an unknown distance trail run...should be fun!!

My foot is feeling much better now so I'm going to attempt a good walk today for a tester. ;-)

I'm getting ready to start Charolette's "Toasty Rotation" and Lord knows I need to get geared up for that. ;-) I'm ready to work HARD Charolette, thanks again for sharing it.

Have missed checking in this week. With starting back to work and kids back to school I haven't had anytime to exercise or anything else. but I'm hoping to get back on track! And I have said this many times. He!He!

Today will be PUB. Will do this after the grocery store. Oh what fun!!

Good Morning All! This morning I did L&G followed by the med ball portion of CoreMax. My legs needed a good w/o as I have been doing more circuits lately. I think L&G has the highest fun factor of all Cathe's lower body w/o's.

Kim, I'm eagerly awaiting my Kids return to school in just a bit more than a week. We've had a great summer but I'm a sucker for routine and need to get some structure back.

Carole, enjoy your mystery run:)

Wendy, hope you got some rest after your late night neighbours packed it in. I'm so bad I'd be inclined to start the lawnmower up as early as possible to even up the score}( But that would be mean and nasty which is soooo NOT what we are all about;)

LOL Laurie...I got some sleep...I will probably hit the bed early tonight though!:)

I conquered ALL STEP!!! WAHOO! I did it today and I actually FINISHED it and was only MILDLY confused this time! :7 For those of you who don't know...All Step has been enemy # 1 since I received the ctx work outs several months ago! I am sooo happy and proud that I have finally done it!

Before I did A/S I did PP and I the abs from A/S too.

Tomorrow is circuit day....

Good workout Laurie! I can understand about you wanting the routine back...I am so much that way! I also cracked up with your early lawnmower suggestion!!!x( The mystery run was about 11.5 miles. But my wonderful older running friend took us on this course she hasn't run for awhile...OMG....this 2 mile uphill cliff....and she kept saying "I think this is the last hill" as there were 5 more }( brutal...but I survived...:)...Carole

Well, I built bookshelves this morning, all by myself, which was a workout in itself. Then this afternoon I went inline skating and did 19.2 km, which is almost 12 miles. My legs are saying "Hello?? What, Bootcamp twice yesterday wasn't enough for you?":p
 
Wendy, sorry about your sleepless night. We have neighbors across the road from us who get pretty loud sometimes. Half of our pasture is between us though so the music/voices aren't that loud but still wake me up sometimes.

LOL... isn't All Step great!!! I loved it when I mastered it because it was my first Cathe workout. DD and I got our step and that workout at WalMart at the same time and I kept at it until I got it, she packed her step and tape up after the first try and took it back to WalMart. This has been a while back. LOL... she prefers The Firm.

Well I took Thursday and Friday off as planned and then took Saturday off too, not planned. I ate like a pig Friday and Saturday and felt like the slug I was and didn't work out. Today I did High Step Challenge with a few modifications due to my low hemoglobin. I'm not going for "bust-a-gut" workouts until this resolves. Even with modifications, it was pure "you know what"!!! My body don't run on junk and it was letting me know how displeased it was with me. I thought I'd die before I got through that workout. Hopefully tomorrow's workout will be better.

Carole, I'd been throwing myself off one of those cliffs if I'd been on that run with y'all. :D
