No workout to report yet but I will do one today. They put my GS in the hospital yesterday so it was a long day.

Debbie-you are welcome I really like those workouts.

Nora-Lean Legs and Abs has compound moves so she uses upper body work to help get the hr up. I was actually talking about the Xtrain workouts.

I just finished today's workout and will now check in.

Here's today's workout:

Party Rockin' Step Workout #2- Premix- Timesaver #1 (No Finished Product) = 34 Min
MV= 7.0
CB= 325

Let me just say that PRS#2 looks fun and is definitely less dancey than PRS#1. That being said I have MS and have balance issues & weaknesses on my right side so quick balance challenges are not great for me and step is something I used to do with great ease pre MS now its very very difficult. I was tired when I attempted this first go of this dvd so I know that effects my balance. I do know all of the moves and can and have done them before separately on previous dvds. However, never had them all put together and the moves go by quick so its hard to catch on. I caught myself tripping over step a few times but was able to correct to keep from twisting ankle. I do realize I will have to learn the moves as they are put together they just didn't want to flow for me I think because of anticipating the former set up move and then exit maneuver from learning it before for that one move but none of that applies to this one. It was tough for me and I finally just had to do step ups and downs on the step as I watched the moves. I'd join in when I felt I could try it, but there is a learning curve with this workout I'd say so be warned and expect that. No one had said that about PRS#2 in the reviews of it and I did watch it before I tried it but still it lost something in the translation. I think once I learn it this will be fine and does look like fun but its just getting to that point. So patience is key! If you try this be patient and forget expectations of those moves being easy from the previous workouts since you know them.;)

Good Afternoon,

I did KCM's TLC Boxing and I will do Xtrain CB&S later. My stomach is not feeling very well today so it might not get done.

Nora-all of GS's bloodwork came back normal and so did his chest xray and urine specimen they think he has a virus on top of a virus he hasn't been able to keep anything down since Friday but he did drink some apple juice at the hospital and as far as I know he kept it down so he is on the mend.
 
No workout yesterday or today, I've had a lot going on at work and have just been too tired to get up and workout so early. I'll be back at it on Monday.

Good Morning,

My grandson has taken a turn for the worst he threw up again yesterday so they redid his bloodwork and tummy xray and they showed normal so today they are doing a sonogram and talking to a surgeon and if he doesn't have any answers they are moving him to a major hospital in Kansas City.
 
Grandson has and ulcer they are going to sonogram him and then probably sending him to a childrens hospital to have it treated.

Roxie- I'm so sorry to hear that your GS is not doing so well, I will continue to pray for him and continue to send lots of well wishes out to both you and him. Hang in there little guys are tougher than they look. When my youngest son, Trevor got sick periodically. One time when he was almost 2 became sick so sick he couldn't keep anything down and fever. It was scary and I took him to the doctors every time he was sick. One time the doctors office was closed I had to take him to the ER that so scary and he was lethargic they gave him some sort of suppository and had to hold it in place while it dissolved. When it did he started to feel better and did accept an enfamil Popsicle. They kept us for a while to monitor him and said if he wasn't responding to the meds they'd admit him in a hour. He did and we were sent home told to give him any food or drink we can give him and that he'd keep down was fair game. He needed food and fluids to combat the dehydration. He did get better and Tuesday was his 17th birthday, my baby I can't believe it. I will continue to pray for your precious GS. Hang in there Roxie ((Cyber Hugs)).;)

Good Afternoon,

I did Xtrain CB&S and Tabata 1, I need to work abs and do sqauts later. It is 44 degrees here and its raining with snow mixed in.

Nora-thank you and the hospital they want to send him to is very good with childrens ulcers so hopefully they can get him feeling better soon.

No workout today. I'm a bit ticked about this, I got up to workout at my usual time and I was dizzy I almost fell down 3 times. My head is all congested again and I was very disoriented. I don't get it. What could I possibly allergic to right now? I'm so frustrated. Thursday I won't be able to workout because I have to be at work early so that leaves me with a 3 day workout week again. Very frustration. I took a decongestant and I feel better. I was fine yesterday so I have no clue where this came from. :mad:

Roxie - How does a child get an ulcer? That is terrible. I hope he gets better soon.

Nora - I see you did Cardio Coach #2 on Friday. Nice job and nice job with the other stuff you mixed in with that workout! You are an animal, girl! WTG!!!

Chris - Hows the Whole30 going? Noticing any differences yet?

Good Morning,

I did Xtrain BS Bis & Tris and 30 minutes on the tm. GS is now in the childrens hospital so we are going down to see him he developed bronchitis Saturday. They have put dye in his GI tract to see if it developed right and so far the results were normal.

Debbie-he had tummy trouble when he was born and instead of trying different formulas DD stayed with breastfeeding because its suppose to make him healthy which at this point is a joke and he has been on alot of antibiotics for ear infections so I am not sure how he developed and ulcer.

Roxie- How's your GS doing? I've been concerned about him all weekend and been praying for a speedy recovery for the little guy.

I am feeling a bit better today, at least I'm not dizzy. I've been taking decongenstants again and that seems to be helping.

Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a fairly decent workout. Didn't push myself too hard but still had a good workout.

No workout for me yet today since we turned the heat on my throat has been so dried out and my nose is bleeding I think I have a sinus infection in the making my head also hurts.

Nora-they still haven't figured out what is wrong with GS still saying he has a virus on top of a virus. He kept fluids down yesterday but then they gave him jello and he threw up again so while we were there last night they put the iv back in.

Debbie-good job with your workout. GS has had tummy problems since he was born. They did a GI xray and dye test but everything was normal.
 
Today I did a mix between Muscle Max Legs Only Premix and then I added in some Butts & Guts because MM was only like 23 minutes. Had a good workout. I love Firewalkers, that's why I did some of B&G. That one gets me every time.

Do any of you have trouble storing your elastic bands? I bought some from Cathe a few months back - maybe even almost a year now - and they have holes in them from sitting in my closet. How does that happen? Is there a certain way you should store them? Anyone know? It was like they were sticking together and when I pulled them apart the holes were there. I'm sort of irritated about it because they have hardly been used. It almost looks like mice ate away at them but I have no mice in my workout closet that I know of. Weird.

Roxie - I'm sorry to hear about your GS. I sure hope he's feeling better! :(

Debbie- Oh yeah the fire walkers from B&G get me too, I love those. Muscle Max does have a great one for legs in the premix. Wow, sounds like you had a great workout today with Cathe, nicely done girlfriend. I have had that problem with the older bands like used in Muscle Max where they practically fuse together and when trying to separate them to get it ready to use. I think that in my case it was because they were old and heat got to them via temp changes due to weather, summer heat etc it effected the bands. I have purchased Cathe's new ones that are non latex and they seem stronger and I have not had that problem with either the firewalker loops or regular resistance bands. Maybe they were made stronger to resist those issues not sure but mine seem to be fine. I hope that helps. Have a great day!!;):)

We went and visited GS yesterday and they gave him toast and cheerios and he kept it down so today he had pancakes and they took the iv out talking about sending him home today. I did XT BS CB&S then AOLIH so I am somewhat caught up on workouts.

Debbie-thank you for thinking about him. I was going to suggest you try zyrtec everyday its the only thing that helps me with my allergies and keeps me from getting dizzy.
