~*CHEETAH'S Runnin' Free Friday*~

TGIF CHEETAHS! :)

Posh: I really think my favorite pic from Maui was of your very stylish looking feet! Glad you had a nice time. I am feeling better, but missing my workouts.

Wendi: I am sorry for the loss you suffered recently. :( Take care.

Cathy: I was dreading Advanced Studies yesterday because it took so dang long to prepare for and at the end of the day I just want to rest. Honestly, I pepped up when I started teaching because they were so engaged in the lesson. It is only an hour and it went by really fast. Stay in the cave! My coteacher will no longer touch any doors, etc without a paper towel since so many of us at school are getting sick. Your pics are too funny! I am sorry you didn't get more answers at the doc.

Wendy: How was your run? DH must be excited for his new job! Are you thinking of doing PT full time?

Christine: Sounds like the new toys on the bike will be fun! I coughed a lot less today. The kids even said that it sounds like I am getting better. Enjoy your weekend!

Carole: For me, when I had poison ivy it seemed that my working out made it spread with all the sweating. I used calamine lotion. I would get it on my arms and have to waitress in short sleeves! Yikes! Poor customers were probably fearful of eating their food. It is wierd how our body changes on us out of nowhere. That would be really sweet of you if you PMd me the recipe. I would really appreciate it. The recipe sounded so good. I may have to go and pick up the rest that they have, as I am sure this is the last time I will ever find them.

Shelly: I am honestly not feeling bad for holding off on the workouts, which is unusual for me. Last spring when I had that bad cold it seemed to last forever since I was still working out all the time. I am glad the animals are doing well. I bet they have been busy sniffing everything. You were busy in Philly. I teach social studies so naturally I had to ask about the Liberty Bell. :)
Hope you had some good sweaty workouts today!

Linda: I am ok with the resting. You are right. I think I will get better faster than the last time I had a cold. Good luck on the 19-20 miler! :)

Dallas: GREAT RUN! :)

Jackie: I hope you have a nice time this weekend! I am fine with the rest. Sounds like you got in a nice workout this morning! :)

Nothing exciting to report. No workout. I will see how I feel this weekend. Hope the weekend is a nice one for the Cheetahs! :)

Hi Again Cheetahs!

I think those Trader Joe's guys are trained to give really nice compliments. :D It made my day though. ;) Thanks about the run. It was a beautiful day out there. I tried an Accel gel today. No problems!!!

Gloria ~ Sorry you're still not feeling well. :( More healing {{{VIBES}}}.

Cathy/Carole/Christine ~ What are you planning for get together type stuff on the Chicago marathon weekend? DH told me this morn that we have a soccer tournament the whole weekend up north. Good golly! I'm still coming on Sunday. I was hoping to get away Sat night too. Hmmm

Wendy ~ Glad I wasn't the only one re: filling up. Although, my SUV is not the big one TG. Good luck tomorrow. How do you remember to make all those drinks? I bet that would be a fun time. :) Glad your dh doesn't have to worry about anything work wise. The economy is in such a bad place. :(

Cathy ~ Too funny that you asked the clerk if he would like to donate!!! :) IA about the peskiness of shopping in stores. I remember working at Express during college and later Casual Corner when I had my real job how they wanted us to ask the customers for all that extra stuff. Sorry about the eye appt not going as planned. Hope your Nov appt he figured it out.

I hit "reply" to soon. There's a bunch of kids here and had to stop something. Glad I'm going out with the girls!!! ;-) Now where was I....

Jackie ~ Enjoy your weekend!

Shelly ~ get all your chores done? It sounds like you had a busy day.

Carole ~ do you still use Facebook? Which games are you watching this weekend? Now we have to watch the Cubs too! I'm a White Sox fan. dh is a Cubs fan.

Wendi ~ (((HUGS))) I'll keep your friend's family and you in my prayers.

Christine ~ I sent you a "friend" request. :) Glad you feel better.

Wendy ~ Dh is usually a big help around here, but just not in a good place right now with all that's going on here. :( He's getting somewhat back to normal.:)

Cathy ~ re: the orthotics, I had an ankle injury and after physical therapy the doc prescribed them. Now I'm askeered to not use them. I've been trying it out though on some runs. :) I understand about not wanting to experiment anymore until after the race. Thanks about the sock rec and that other gadget. :)

Posh ~ Let me know how that spelling game works. ;-) Love the pix!! IA my fav is the nicely done pedicure picture!! :) lol'd about the smuggling beans comment.

Sorry if I missed anyone and for the short personals. I have to get dressed to go out or I'll be late.

Have a greta night!

Happy Evening. Sorry I haven't been around all day. Dh was home today so after my 11 mile run this morning :D:D Yeah Me. We decided to decorate the outside for Halloween which entailed me going to Walmart for even more lights then I already have. Then for art today the girls and I made paper mache masks which we are letting dry over the weekend to paint on Monday. That took forever with the mess. I have no clue what posssesed me to take on paper mache. The floor the chairs the table. My Goodness it was a mess. I have no clue where the day went. Then Dh and I decided to go to Hershey Park tomorrow. We have tickets that we never used because when we bought them before dd broke her arm and then my mom situation and all so we never went. Hershey Park is open tomorrow and Sunday and then the 27th for the season. So we are finally going to go. So while at Walmart ( mine has a Subway) we got subs for tomorrow. ( not paying park food prices) and all kinds of things for the day. The new waterpark is closed but that is fine with me since my monthly friend decided to come today just before my 11 mile run began. My calf is doing so so. I ran slower than usual but better safe than fast. Right now I have icy hot patches on it and I bought more for tomorrow too. So I'm going to get the kids to bed after I read some stories and then I'm going to try and get dh to rub my feet.:D:eek::rolleyes:. We shall see. See you on Sunday.

Good luck to all girls running long or short runs this weekend.
Wendy- Hope you feel better.
