**CHALLENGERS 04/20 - 04/26 April 09

Oh boy,im pooped:confused:. TTOTM started yesterday and i didn't really feel like working out today,but pushed through it. I burned 430cals. I did 4DS weights first kickbox premix...minus core work,just too tired today.

Roxie-Good Luck on your challenge, ive got those dreaded sugar cravings kicking into high gear...so far ive managed to avoid them with a couple of sugar free fudge pops and some chamile honey tea. Saturday i will have something yummy(with my cheat meal).

Hey to everybody...must get some housework done...if i have too:rolleyes:. Hopefully my energy will increase as the day goes on.
 
Amelia-I know it is going to take alot of willpower but I must do it. Today for lunch I am having a salad from subway. I f I try to eat 6 small meals a day I feel like I gain more wt.
 
Hi guys.

Yesturdays WO was hip hop abs Fat burn cardio, and Jaris Slim and Lean. I think I've hit that plateu again! So im really going to mix up the workouts.

Roxie - how did you do today with the eating?
Amelia- Our "cycles" must be the same or very nearly. Any day now for me. God its such a drag!

Andrea here are my eats for today.

Brkfst-monster cookie and banana
Lunch-sweet onion teriaky salad
snack-pineapple and raspberry yogurt
Supper-grilled cheeseburger chips and dip

All in all not to bad.
 
Just finished a puke status workout and wish I had done this one sooner I think I would have had better results. Then I worked my abs for 11 mins.
 
Amelia, at least a plateau is better than a gain. Hope mixing it up gets you off the plateau. And I like Jena, but since my mom and dad gave me Jean I better stick with it. Besides that I already have a Jena in my family, my nephew's wife.

Roxie, nice work out. Don't like the puke factor myself. I can live without thoses.

Amelia, nice workout even if you weren't feeling 100%. Hope you are feeling better real soon.

Andrea H. glad to see you have been checking in again. Man what a schedule. I don't miss those days of running here and there for DD's activities. I do miss watching her do them though. Enjoy them while they are young.

Elaine, how's STS coming for you? Hope everything else is going great for you.

Becca, are you still around? Hope all is well with you too.

No work out for me today. Had some insomnia last night and just didn't have the energy. Weight is holding steady which is actually a miracle, the way I've been eating. I'm so made at myself, because STS is such a great program, but my eating is sabatoshing my efforts. I will try to control the food over the next 3 weeks and see what I accomplish.

HI girls,

I am still here. I've been busy with work,kids and the sick gecko.I've had to inject antibiotics in him, feed him with a syringe and lubricate his eyes. I sure do hope he starts to eat on his own soon.

This is my rest week. I was very tired by the end of Meso 2. I've been doing plyo legs this week for cardio. I do the weight work with no weights.

I hear you on the eating. I would definitly see better results if I could just eat clean for more than one to two days.:mad: I keep saying today is the day I will start and then I stress about something and I eat junk!!

I should get to bed. I want to do DM cardio tomorrow morning.

I need to pick myself up and brush myself off and get busy with eating clean and keeping track of my calories and macros. I know I can do it I just can't seem to keep focused.

okay off to bed I go.
 
Girls! Forgive me! This is going to be a very very self absorbed post.

Yesturdays workout was conducted in front of a mirror!:mad:

The reasoning behind it was so that I could concentrate on my form Which wasn't that great, (hip hop Abs form that is)

So.... anyways, I looked, and I looked again, and then I looked again. THAT ASS CANNOT BE MINE!!!:mad: ITS WAAAAAAY TOOOOO BIG. But no matter what angle I hip hopped in, the ass was still there!

Todays workout was again in the front of the mirror. Just to remind myself how BIG it was.

Needless to say I have not broken the diet since the first workout in front of the mirror yesturday!
 
Oh Andrea....I needed that laugh this morning, im sure your ass isn't that big and im pretty sure my ass is bigger than yours:eek: Great job with your workout!!!!

Well,today is going to be interesting...i started getting sick in the afternoon yesterday(back of my throat sore,sinuses clogging up) so i woke up with feeling like crap:mad:. I knew my body was trying to tell me something yesterday...i was so tired all morning. today is going to be a rest day(unless i feel better,then i will hop on the TM for some cardio) and tommorrow will be too since im working tommorrow and i have a b-day party to go to in the evening.ive got to lower my calories today since im not working out:mad: i may walk the dog though... But the good news is that tommorrow is my cheat day...whooohoooo....:D and a cheating i will be;)

Roxie-great job on your meals yesterday!!! Are you counting calories or just eyeballing what you eat?

Andrea, here's the mirror we need, but you probably already look like the person in the reflection any way. But if we had that mirror we would be fooling ourselves and not workout like we should. A true mirror shows us what we need to work on.

Today was disc 30 shoulders, bis and tris. This heavy weight work is cool. I don't think I have ever really pushed myself before and STS is definitely making me. And the good news is my WI this morning I was down 1/2 lb. Not much, but at least the right direction. The Easter candy has been burned off. Now if I could just tell myself, every day, Eat Right, Eat Right, Eat Right maybe the scale will continue to decrease.

Roxie, what's in store for you today?

Good Morning,

Tonite is Burn Circuit 3 and since it is short I will also do Recharge to relax me. I haven't slept well all week.

Amelia-I use myfitnesspal. It says I need 1200 cals but FF said I need 1600 so I kind of play between the two. Yesterday after exercise I still had 400 cals left.

Andrea-did you read my post about the bikini top and skirt it was absolutely disgusting how my stomach look. I feel your pain.

Jean-great job with the workout.

Elaine-good to have you back.

Roxie- love myfitnesspal, it wasn't working though! FF said i needed 1600-1700 cals but i misdiagnosed my bodytype(told her i was a mesoendo when im really a endo) im not sure if that makes any difference but according to Tom Venuto(which is where i believe FF gets her cal info from)i get to eat 2030, thats what im trying for four weeks,i wasn't losing weight at 1700:( .

im so sick of counting cals....but if that what it takes then so be it!:)

Amelia-sometimes I wonder if that is why I am not losing wt because I never go over 1500 and when I do I feel bad about doing it. I to am and endo.

Today is work then i have to get ready for a my Niece's one year old birthday part! I can't believe she's already one year old!! Wow,where does the time go? I got her one of those baby pools thats shaped like a giraffe,its so cute. I also got her a plush lamb stuffed animal,its so soft.

im so tired:confused: i shouldn't have stayed up so late with dh last night watching the ballgame. No workout today,didn't get one in yesterday either because i was sick and i still don't feel well:(

Roxie-That might be the culprit...maybe your not eating enough,especially on those more intense workout days. Have you tried staggering your cals? like having anywhere between 1500-1700(i go three days at my calorie deficit then one day high). It might help confuse your body? Great job with your workout yesterday! My eating was off my logged schedule yesterday....DH wanted to go to arby's for supper,so i had to make due...ate a regular roast beef and a salad.

Hey to everybody...off to start the day. Atleast the weather is pretty...in the 80's:cool:

Good Morning,

Today is suppose to be Burn it Off HIIT but TTOM struck yesterday and I don't feel very good so I am just going to do LIS instead and then later do recharge again and add in Hip Hop 5min abs. Didn't sleep very well again. The weather has cooled down here again it was in the upper 80's yesterday. Well I am going to cleanmax, and laundrymax then go tan and get a mani pedi hosting a bridal shower next Saturday tootsies need to look good.

Amelia-have fun at your neices b-day party. I am going to try to play with my calorie load DH is leaving town again next week so I am going to try different things and see what happens.
 
Good Morning,

Not a very chatty bunch here anymore. Today is a rest day but I will do a SM then do the recharge I didn't do yesterday. Just plan on tanning today and taking it easy.
 
Morning

I finally broke down and bought some Zyrtec yesterday evening..my sinuses were so clogged and i developed a cough:( i took one about 8pm and by ten i was feeling alot better,still have a cough though...

The party was great yesterday! My present was a hit(got her a small giraffe pool). We had fun...yesterday was my cheat meal day. They served hamburgers and hotdogs plus all the fixings and the b-day cake. It was delish:D Here is a pic of her not liking the smaller b-day cake. She later cried about the icing being on her fingers,lol


Today is back on track day for me! And if i get to feeling better im going to do some kind of workout! I know i will walk the dog later this afternoon.

Roxie-if things don't change with the scale pretty soon here i will be playing around with my calories too! I plan on tanning sometime today too. I started last week,just laying in the sun reading my book and watching my kids play...nice and relaxing! I got some pretty good sun too! Have a great rest day!!

You and Roxie are doing great! I can't believe how determined you both are! I don't count calories............perhaps I should. The best thing for me has been working out in front of that bleepin mirror. Ate a few chips Saturday night (not a pig out by any standards) and thats really been the only hiccup since the I paraded in front of the bleeping mirror last week.

I'm about to try a 5 day Restart Programe. To really kick off some weight. I'll tell you all about it when I've got the programe but you can start to look it up yourselves if you are interested.
