Every time I lift heavy, I get bruises, especially on my legs. Does this happen to you? I once saw a doctor for this and all he said was: "All women bruise." ARRRGGGG!!!! He did prescribe a blood test and it turn out to be a slight iron deficiency. I guess I should get a blood test again because it is happening again. At first I thought: " I must have hit something and have forgotten." But, it happens only after heavy lifting. The other day I was resting at my bed and I swear I felt one forming in my leg! A few years back someone posted on this and some of you recommended vitamin C, which I know helps with iron absorption. I want to dig more into it. I know my father has iron absorption problems; it's a type of anemia or something. Maybe I inherited it. My question is: Is it really true that ALL WOMEN BRUISE? Does this happen to you?
