Heidi-I am so sorry to hear the news about Aunt Carollyn! How sad. Stay positive as best you can. CANCER SUCKS! (sorry, had to get that out of the way) Hugs, girl!!
Hi, Belinda....I'm sure you're typing as I am!!!
Melissa-AWESOME job at the 99!!! (what is the 99, by the way?)! Isn't it amazing how STRONG and REmotivated you feel after coming thru an event or outing like that? It didn't kill you to forego those things, it only made you stronger. The podcast I'm listening to right now says that food is like a big black hole.....it looks amazing at first, you come closer and it sucks you in (you eat), but then it just sucks you UP and it all disappears.
OK...Saturday morning. 6:30am here. I had my alarm set for 5:50, thinking I'd sleep in just an hour later, but my cats had other plans for me. I woke up at 5am to my cats going at it....screeching, meowing, scratching, and shreaking! LOL I got up so quickly to break it up that I got lightheaded before I even opened my bedroom door! So I figured I'd stay up and just workout...get it done and out of the way for the day.
I donated blood later yesterday afternoon at my PTA's blood drive, and I think that's where the light-headedness came from. So I did HIIT, but a modified version. I w/u and then did my first 2 intervals as planned, but then the last 15 minutes I went up and down (speed) on my own choosing. I ended up logging 3.24 miles, so I'm happy with that. Followed it with abs and a stretch, and now I'm ready for the day!
HUGE HUGE HUGE grocery trip planned today. Baseball first, then groceries! I'm makinga big batch of Chicken Tuscan Soup this afternoon. YUMMO!
OK...time to shower (quietly, since the kids are still sleeping...younger DS had a friend stay over).
BBL sometime, perhaps to report my MONSTER grocery bill!
