    Need Advice about Running

    The longer you are a runner the better your time will get. Also, doing intervals, hills and tempo runs help improve your speed. I would not add them all in at once, but pick one. Is the charity race a 10K? Good luck and let us know how it goes. Beverly

    Hi Dutchie, I prefer to run in warm/hot temps than cooler. All I can say is make sure you stay hydrated, but don't overdo it. I find if I overdo the liquids I get nauseated. Also, I like to poor water on my face and head if I am really hot and sweating. It cools you down. If you are not...

    Help for Knee Probs & running

    Karen, Hi! Usually strengthening the muscle around the knee helps. Doing squats and also leg extensions and leg curls are helpful. Strengthening the quads and hams helps because these muscles go down around the knee and help support it. Beverly
