Step Moves?

Hi ladies,
Totally random question...
Does anyone else have calf/ankle issues while doing Step Moves? I'm wondering if I'm just not wearing shoes with enough support for the workout (I normally go either barefoot or wear track shoes). It's only this workout, and every time I do it, my calves, feet and ankles are sore by the end of the first combo. This doesn't happen with any other workout.
Any thoughts? Maybe it's the intricacy of the moves?
