San Diego EB trip - hotel reservations

Since the thread for the trip is not hoppin' yet thought I'd post here.

Is there a code we can use to get the Cathe room rates online or do we need to call the hotel to book the rooms?

I'm pretty sure you have to call directly. I called right after my confirmation the first day and the reservations person did not know what I was talking about. Others were able to make their reservations immediately, so I tried again and the second person knew just what I was calling about and it was quick and easy. Be sure to ask for a confirmation to be e-mailed to you, which is not automatic.
