Hardest to Easiest

Cathlete
Could you please rate the WOs from hardest (most advanced, most intense) to "easiest" (I know none of Cathe's WOs are easy, but you know what I mean). Thanks.

You can actually see those kind of details on her main web site.

That's a very subjective question, however - i.e. weight training, circuit training, cardio? One person's may be another's very challenging.

Hi Exercise Lover!

Here are a couple of fun links that address your question:

The first link ranks the workouts based on feedback from lots of Cathletes. This ranking list is a bit older, so it doesn't include all of Cathe's most recent workouts (maybe it's been updated since, but I don't know).

The second link is from Cathe herself, where she ranks the Shock Cardio workouts according to level of difficulty. http://cathe.com/forum/f115/order-intensity-easiest-hardest-271239/

I remembered when she rated the Shock Cardio WOs. It was very helpful. That's why I got the idea to see if she would rank the new set. When we receive the set, it would be helpful to know. These workouts are kind of apples and oranges though.

Exercise Lover: Whoops! I should have realized you were asking about ranking the NEW workouts, given the title of the forum. My bad. Sorry, I gave you links to older workouts!

Kat2002: thanks for the reminder about Afterburn. I'm scared already!

Low Impact series Intensity

From a cardio viewpoint the two hardest workouts are AfterBurn and Athletic Training. Cardio Supersets is a close 3rd. But it depends on what you mean by the most intense? For example the Yoga and barre workouts are are no match when you use "cardio" as a measuring stick and compare these workouts to AfterBurn, but when it comes to flexibility and strength barre and the Yoga workouts would be considered by most to be more intense.

This series has a lot of variety and truly is a balanced approach to fitness. Intensity of a workout is just one factor that determines how fast you will get in shape. Muscle confusion and continuing to challenge your body as often as possible in new and different ways is equally important and will help to prevent injuries.

The good news with the Low Impact series is that you will get both intensity and balance in this series. This is not a series in which all of the workouts are similar. Instead the Low Impact series features ten truly different workouts!
