Does anyone have.....???

A frame from either an 18 or 24 foot Intex metal frame pool that they are getting rid of? We have about $1200 invested in a pool that we can not put up because we need one part, a horizontal beam, that is bent totally out of shape. They are out of stock at Intex and I am so frustrated! I had hoped to swim for activity this summer but who knows if we will even be able to put the dumb thing up because of one $6.50 part!!

If anyone is getting rid of a pool I would happily pay for this part!

Hi Terri,

This looks like a part that would be pretty easy to fabricate. Is it an aluminum tube? That's what it looks like on Intex's web site.

Have you tried taking the part to a hardware store and see if they have tube stock that would be something close enough to be a substitute until the manufacturers part comes back into stock?
