I have recently tried to eat clean, however, I am becoming bored. I feel like I eat the same thing all the time. Just wondering if anyone knows of any good cook books that they would recommend. Thanks for your help.

I got the Eating For Life cookbook out of the library and was impressed with how clean the recipes were...I am thinking about buying it.

I love EFL. Also I have heard that Stella's Cookbook is great. I don't know if that is the actual name or not, but it is close. Also, here is a link to some clean recipes put together from a lady on the bfl yahoogroups...she has a lot of creativity! http://maggiewang.com/index.php?p=36

Jen-

I just ordered EFL 2 minutes ago! I decided to check it out when I read your post and I think I will really like it because it gives you HEALTHY recipes for "REAL" food like chicken parm, for example! :)

Have a great work out!

Thank you for the suggestions, I think I will stop by the library on my way home today and check out Eating for Life.

Melissa,

Just a thought if you are interested...if you go to amazon.com you can check out EFL online...they let you skim through different pages in the book and even print out 12 recipes from it! It's a great (and FREE) way to "preview" it before you buy it!

Have a great work out!

Wendy,

Thanks so much for the information. I checked out amazon.com and EFL looks great. Lots of good, healthy recipes. I am definitely going to order EFL. This was my first post and I am thrilled at the great suggestions.

I got a book called HEalthy Eating for Two...(haven't tried it yet but it got really good reviews on amazon.

Also if you go to the fitness renissance site (www.fitren.com)
go to the newsletter archive section and click on the top newsletter
There is the same question and he lists a bunch of books..alot you can download samples which is awesome

That stellas book was on his list as a good one.

Do a search at amazon.com on "whole foods cookbook" or "whole food recipes" or "natural food cookbook." Those should give you someplace to start.
