Definitely for me. I am 77 and have been working out with you since my 40s. I no longer even try to lift the same amount of weight as in STS 2.0; nor do I do a lot of the high impact cardio in the Live workouts. But I keep up pretty well.
I did this one yesterday and thought I had a really good leg workout even if I didn't always use the 15s when most of the exercisers did. The one exercise that really flummoxed me was holding that weight up in one hand while doing a back lunge. Maybe I will just use a 5 lb. next time. I ended up...
I did this one today without any step and eliminated most of the impact from the cardio. No problem with the weights which I kept the same as Jen's. A very fun workout for my 76 year old body.
I have done this one twice now, and what I especially like about it is the pacing. I love the idea of 21 and Done, but I am out of breath on that one and its pacing, which is really too fast for this old lady in her 70s; so I appreciate when I can keep up with Cathe's minions like this one.
I enjoyed this one today. Once again, you can make it as hard as you want by increasing the weight. I kept it at an intermediate level I think with a 40 lb. barbell, and never going over the 15 lb. dumbbells on the other rounds. I also went down to 12s on some of the rounds. What I appreciate...
I did this one today and found it to be the right challenge for me in this hot weather. Cathe gives you some breaks for water and previews of the combos. Intermediate for me because I sometimes chose a lower weight than Cathe, especially in the combos. Just 43 min. too!
I did this one yesterday and think it's a great workout. If you want a shorter workout, you could skip the final round. I was definitely tempted and modified for less intensity. I couldn't believe she added on those burpees too. Yikes! But I did it all.
This one was perfect for me. I loved the variety and pacing. I think this is intermediate, but you could make it more advanced with heavier weights. I will definitely do this one many times.
I think this one was too advanced for me. I felt breathless and frenetic in the first part and ended up too tired to do some of the later exercises without complete substitutions/modifications.
I will try all of these. I substituted a very long plank this morning for the supermans at the end of Live Burn Sets Back, Chest, and Shoulders.
Thank you Cathe!
