Your desert island movie selection....

There is a thread with your selection for a desert island Cathe workout so I thought I'd start a thread for movies!

Given the choice I think I'd take 'Caddyshack'.

I'll probably need the laugh after my hair goes gray from lack of dye and I get baked bean teeth from lack of whitening toothpaste and my wardrobe choices dwindle from lack of stores....:7

Hmmmm....When Harry Met Sally is one of my all time faves so I might have to go with that if we are allowed just one....ofcourse even as an adult I am tickled pink each and every time I watch Milo and Otis. That movie just makes me feel so good! Then there's Drop Dead Fred...totally stupid comedy that just cracks me up! Jeesh! How do I choose!?!?

I would have to take THE GOONIES! That is such a fun movie, even though I have been watching it for 20 years, it never gets old! And I would still like those marines....or even constuction workers! You know, to build me a house, or...whatever....

I would defiently take When Harry Met Sally or Gone In 60 Seconds. I know two totally differernt movies but I love them both. Karen

The opening scenes of When Harry Met Sally was filmed on campus while I was in college at the University of Chiago. I watched them film the scene.

I would take Good Advice, all 3 Godfather movies, and The Blues Brothers (I lived in Old TOwn at the time and I remember John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd always being around my building-they lived behind us while filming-they were really nice to us kids-bought us lots of ice cream).

Okay, I think "Big Daddy" or maybe "Happy Gilmore". I'm such a sucker for Adam Sandler's crazy humor. I think I would need a laugh so I didn't go delirious all by myself on the island

OK, if we can take a selection, then I can answer this. The Harry Potter movies, for sure. Also the LOTR and Star Wars series. And a whole bunch of Kurosawa movies, with commentary, cause they're fascinating. Guess I have a range of tastes.
