Yoga Lovers & Cross-Trainers (week of 18 Nov)

the last 2 days I've typed personals and updates but each time I submit it says I wasn't logged in. Then I'd log in and retype and submit again...no luck.

Thursday was LIC and Friday I did IMAX1 sections 1-5 and then Rainbeau Mars Yoga Tranquility.

Today is a circuit workout so maybe Cathe's HSC or C&W.

oh well. back to the drawing board on the three pounds I've gained/lost for the past two months. Time to get it in gear. I'm getting uber strict with my clean eating and upping my yoga wo to four times a week (every other day.) I know that works I just have to be righteous about my behavior and allow myself to feel good while I do it (not feel deprived.) After all why put off dedication until January?

Yesterday I did the beginner's workout off of yoga today dot com with Sarah Kline. Today should be a two to three mile walk. Monday I expect to be back to my normal wo self. I was up all night feeling awful. :(

I hope that everybody else is feeling better than I am/was.
 
Hi ladies,

I took DH back to the doctor yesterday. They took an x-ray, DH still has an infection. The doctor is worry about the infection. He has DH take stronger antibiotic 600 milligrams 3 x a day!. DAH! If they would have giving DH antibiotics in the first place, maybe DH wouldn’t have an infection for over 1 week! Every time DH is standing up longer than 15 min. he is bleeding out of his nose! We have to go back Monday. I hope the swelling is down by then. DH can’t still breathe out of his nose. After we came back from the doctor, I took a 2 hour nap! Last night I did Step Fit, that was a lot of fun!

This morning I did Cardio & Weights! I will do some yoga later, not sure what yet?
Marcy** I did enjoy Patricia Walden yoga DVD! It was different from the other yoga DVD’s I have, I liked it! I have to check out Rob Glick and Amy Bento they sound like fun. Great workout yesterday!

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I did Tracey's Boost Your Metabolsim workout from Results fitness for the first time. It has weight-training (compound moves, low weights, functional fitness flavor) alternating with cardio intervals. Neat and compact.

Last night was the anniversary party of the gym I attend. Every year they put on a show where they get gym members to participate. Usually I do a choregraphed yoga sequence with Venkat (my yoga teacher) and the other ladies in his class. This year I had no time to work with Venkat on the choreography or to rehearse.

This year was unusually fun. They did a fashion show. The models were gym members (and boy! are some of them in great shape), the clothes were from designers / jewellery stores / accessory stores run by gym members (who were billed as sponsors). They did a pretty decent job. There was a tai-chi show by the gym's tai chi trainer and his students and this time just the instructors did the yoga sequence. The members who attend the group aerobics class did a dancy sequence which was the highlight of the show.

Later tonight, I leave for Kuala Lumpur. I am planning on some Kick Box Cardio and a longish yoga workout for today. Perhaps Tilak's Altar of the Heart.

Belinda, Sorry to hear about your husband's infection. I hope it clears up over the course of next week.
 
Saturday 11/22/2008 I did Cathe's Body Fusion for 50 minutes, kept a kind of easy pace and burned 365 calories.

This morning Sunday 11/23/2008 I did Tracy Stahle's Walk Strong TM workout and burned nearly 600 calories! according to my polar HRM.

I do Lawrence Biscontini's workout that I got from Collage video.
Basically you just position your body on it and roll around. It massages the knots out of sore muscles. It's called MFR or myofascial release. It hurts soooo good.
