Good morning,
Today was Jari Love's GR1000, most of anyway. DH's work schedule in the morning is a little later than before so I hate cutting into his morning news time, so gave him an extra 10 minutes to watch before I started the DVD. Golf class was fun last night and the weather was better. I did okay, not great. Have grocery shopping, cleaning and cooking after work tonite (probably sneak a leetle nap in somewhere there I'm sure) to get ready for the celebration tomorrow. Celebration is for one DS's birthday and the other DS's completion of the 3 year apprenticeship for Lineman.
Amy, sure hope you enjoyed the pizza and wine! I haven't had pizza in a long time, but I have had wine more recently
Teddygirl, I like the steel cut oats okay, but I tend to forget about them on the stove and they boil over. They weren't worth the extra time for me, though the chewiness was okay. I have to keep PB out of the house or I'll just start taking a little more here, little more there.
Sandra, mmmmm, the pumpkin spice smoothie sounds wonderful. Let us know how it is, okay? Yes, all those medievel orthodontic devices were awful, awful! However, I still get lots of compliments on my teeth after all these years so guess it was worth it. I do better and better with Christi's choreography the longer I do it. Yes, I do the Movemaster for some of the moves if I'm having trouble. They are very helpful as they get slowed down quite a bit and she has her back to you. I can't tell you where tri-tip comes from, but it's beef for sure, very popular here in California I know. I think we will have around 20-25 people here Saturday afternoon/evening. Should be lots and lots of fun. I just need to clean this filthy house. I have been a real slacker with the housework during the week. I'll be sure and save you a nice thick slice of tri-tip. My DH is a great BBQer, thankfully!
Nicole, please don't push the back situation, please!!! Please, please listen to Tracy. I know the feeling of aches and pains. My left shoulder was a little achey last night for some reason. Can't remember doing anything to it. I was very careful this morning. The elbow is some better, but I have a feeling it's going to take some time to get better, and probably require that I quit doing things I want to do. Sigh. What did you do to your knee? Don't remember anything about an injury there.
Tracy, yep, the LPGA tour will probably take up most of my next year LOL! I do think I want to pursue lessons in the spring or even this winter if I can. We don't have a golf pro at this little golf course, but I have someone in mind to learn from that offered to teach me. I like his style and some of the stuff he talks about so I'll give him a try when the college class is over (1st week in November). I hope you have a great run today, bet you do like the cooler weather. I like riding in cool but not cold weather.
Debra, bet your DD is cute in her outfit. Re: the tooth guard, bet clarinet playing was challenging. I never took an instrument because of my braces. Wish I had now, though I did learn to play chords on the guitar and sing. I need to get back on the bike more regularly again. If the weather is decent after work, I will do a short ride before hitting the grocery store. Once the time change happens, no more bike rides after work, then only the weekend group ride. Of course, there is always the Garage Boys. Enjoy your evening tonite!!! Sounds like a great time. I'd trade cleaning house with you in a heartbeat.
Wendy, hope you start feeling better soon. Seems like you are in the fast lane a lot, but then again, that may very well be your comfort zone. I haven't missed any golf classes yet, but next week's weather is a little iffier. Are you over your cold yet? I've been feeling frumpier lately, actually the last few months. What's up with that? Finally acting my age for a change? Must....fight....it....
Better get ready for work now,
Jeanette
