Hey Ladies!

I am hoping everyone remembers that we are combining the threads starting today and looks for the new name!

My work out for today will be a few upper body parts ala CTX plus abs.

Legs are sore from yesterday's run but it's not bad at all considiering....:)

Just wanted to get us started.

Good morning girls!!

This morning I did some kettlebells and a short run on the treadmill. Wasn't really "feelin' it" this morning for some reason, but my workout was better than nothing. I'll take my 45 minute lunchtime walk as well.

Pulled out all my X stuff this morning to give it a gander. Not sure if I'll do the lean rotation or the original. The lean rotation includes Kenpo X a lot, and I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. To be determined...

Gotta work, but will be back!

Hey all

Today I'm going to try and drag myself to the basement and do my scheduled yogaX.:confused: As my fellow cabbers know, it's not my cup o' tea.

I've already been up and going thru some paper piles that have been cluttering my countertop for weeks....er.....maybe months now.:eek: I'm also tackling laundry. Hopefully I can stay productive today since it's been a while since I've had a day at home to catch up on things.

The dog is barking at her reflection in the window.:D Thankfully she gives me something to laugh at. She's such a turd. LOL!

The DOMS aren't here yet from S&A yesterday, but I'm sure they will creep in later in the day. Hopefully I can get yoga out of the way before they do.

Had to get in first thing to see I could find the new thread ..LOL!! X-factor .. woo hooo ...

Glad to report I am feeling MUCH better today .. the crud is on it's final leg and my energy levels are gaining!! :D I really feel like I could do a w/o today .. but I am minding what common sense says .. and give it "ONE MORE DAY" to recoop!!

Hello in advance to our new group .. I am Laura (aka: Poochy) .. from Southern Alabama .. I work w/a large utility system (collections) .. and also teach a fitness class after work during the week .. well w/the exception of this week .. I have some awful flu like bug that has been kicking my arse!!

SSOOOOOO .. I hope all of you pull my slack in the exercise dept today (I been asking you that a lot here lately huh?) .... I am getting in a short walk in the afternoon w/my babies .. nothing too strenuous .. nice and easy ... I am hoping to hit the gym tommorrow for a heavy leg w/o .. and maybe a short run w/the doggies! :D then this weekend I will be back in line to take on Tony .. and BRING IT!!!

OHHHH .. I left the house this morning and it was 69 degrees .. OMG .. it felt so good .. made me want to throw on the running shoes and hit the trail .. this is the coolest temps we have had in some time . . today it is to be around 88 or so .. and tonight around 69... and that is super cool compared to what we have been having!! Fall is in the air!!!

OK .. better run .. have a great one .. I will BBL to check in w/everyone and see what is on tap for you girlies!!!
 
Hey girls

I'm done with yogaX in full!!:D My shoulders are feelin' it with all those vinyasa's. I'm always so happy when I get that workout done.

Diana - Glad to hear you got LM done this morning. Any rec ctr plans today?

Jen - I haven't gone by the way of the kettlebell craze yet.....but I'm sure it's coming. There's just so much chatter on the OF about it, that it just HAS to be amazing. When I decide to take that plunge, I'll have to ask you and Wendy what your favorite workout vids are.

Laura - So glad you are feeling better.:) IA that one more day off is in order. You'll kick it back into high gear when you can....hopefully this weekend.
Fall is most definitely in the air. The leaves are turning here and the air is crisp. In fact, I would like DH to help me get the AC put away and also clean and put away the fans. It doesn't look like we'll need them anymore this year. Actually, the weather was pretty mild for us this summer. Hopefully we'll get another winter with lots of snow!

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself......I'm a married mom of 2 boys (Cody - 14 and Cameron - 10) I have a 4 month old beagle pup who is quite entertaining. My DH and I own and operate a small trucking company. He works full time driving, and I work part time in the office doing the books. We love nascar and love to go camping as much as possible. I live in northern Michigan. I think that's pretty much me in a nutshell.......

Anyways, I better get showered and go clean out my pantry. Check you all later girls

Just poppin' in to report today's work out which was CTX Back and Chest and Allstep's Ab work. Off to my mom's for dinner.

Oh btw, just so y'all know, I'm withdrawing from being a Beach Body coach so for those of you who were my customers: Thank you for your support. You should be receiving an email regarding your being assigned to a new coach over the next several days I think.

Alrighty, really gotta jet now!

Wendy .. what made you not decide to to the Beachbody coach thing .. if you dont mind me asking?? It was probably a lot to keep up w/I imagine!! How is little Joey doing at school .. is he loving it??

Ang .. WTG on Yoga X ... I am proud of you!!! it does feel so good once your done with it ... feel taller and leaner!!! LOL about Maggie staring herself down .. the first time Buster saw himself he just stared like he was in love .. like he was looking at the most beautiful dog in the world .. uh um .. which he was!!:)

Di .. I love the LowMax w/o .have not done it in a while .. so when are you gonna start the X back?? Is Monday D-day???

Hello Jen ... kettlebells are about the only w/o out there I have not tried .. think my DH will kill me if I bring home one more peice of equiptment .. there would be no place to put them .. lol!!! but I have to say all the chatter on the boards does "tempt" me!!

I am trying my best not to do any more work .. I ready to get home .. come on 5:00!!! ok .. have a great one .... :D

It is going to be so wonderful to get to know new fitchicks!!

My name is Dee Dee and I work for the Y as a Health & Wellness director. I am also a certified PT as well as Group ex instructor. I have 2 wonderful boys 7 & 3. My dh has promised to complete p90x with me so hopefully i will make it thru the entire 90 days as i have severe exercise ADD, lol.

today's workout was a 35 minute run on the treadmill.

so when is everyone starting there X-factor journey?!

Back from dinner and mom's and ready to catch up on the personals front.

Jen: I say if you like the looks of the lean rotation except for kenpo X then do it and just sub in your own cardio for kenpo. Perhaps do a Cathe kickbox work out instead or just do whatever moves you at the time!:)

Ang: So was it hard finding the new thread this morning? :p Great job getting yoga x done! You go girl! ;) Oh and to answer your question, yes I've noticed the "anger". Seems there is a bit of hostility towards the new members over in the O/F. I have no idea why but whatever. I'm staying out of it. It's ridiculous if you ask me. I am not a fan of the O/F the way I used to be. I skim it daily but can go for days and days with out posting there. Just not a fan anymore....:(

Laura: So it's cooled off down by you as well huh? We are getting highs in the 70's as of late and I'm LOVIN' it!!! Makes for some awesome running weather. I'm scheduled to run tmrw after work. I'm takin' it to the streets instead of the TM. When the HIGHS are going to be in the low 70's then I don't have to worry about gettin' out there early! :D

Sunny: Hadn't your DH completed the X with you in the past or did your exercise ADD stop you from finishing it? :p I've only completed one full rotation of the X and only 1 month's worth of an X+ rotation so don't feel bad! I have exercise ADD too! Perhaps THAT should be the name of our check in! :D:D:D

So this afternoon's work out was CTX Back/Chest and abs from Allstep. Tmrw is a run and instead of staying at the gym to do it on the treadmill I'll be comin' home and hittin' the streets. It's supposed to be in the low 70's tmrw at most...Weather MADE to run in if you ask me! I can't wait!:D
