Hi Girls.

I'm about to eat a banana and get goin' with KPC this morning.

I did good last night with my food. I had a half a glass of wine cause it's yummy and my final eats were just a small bowl of red seedless grapes. :D

I weighed myself this morning and I was on the money. I'm 131.5. YUCK! :eek:

Better get movin' or I won't have time to do my work out!

Aaaahhhh KPC is done.

I used my weighted gloves for it. YEOWZAS! I had to eliminate one of the kicking/punching combos at the end in order to finish the work out on time. I also skipped abs. Apparently I was supposed to skip them y'day and do them today. Oh well. Either way works for me. In fact, it worked out better this way since I didn't have time for abs this morning anyway! :)

Gotta grab some food and start gettin' DS ready for school.

ETA: Before I forget, I'm eating oatmeal made with water and a splash of ff milk plus 1/2 scoop protein powder and some splenda for sweetness.

wendy- hmmm, new name...how about clean eatin'??? not full of good ideas this morning, lol. did you see my last post yesterday? i love KPC!!

today's workout was upperbody and abs (my own) and this evening will do 30 mins on the elliptical.

breakfast- mini egg white muffins with tomatos and spinach...super yum!!

Sunny: Yeah I've been wearin' sweat pants lately myself. :eek: Good job on the weight work this morning. Enjoy your EXT work out tonight. KPC was fun. It's been a while since I've done it in it full instead of just a premix. I actually expected it to be longer!:D I'll go with whatever thread name everyone agrees on. We just have to make sure it's not repetitive as there is a clean eating check in out there already.

I just packed my snack for work...a small handful of grapes, some walnuts and 4 dried apricots. No wonder why I rebelled against eating healthy/clean. How boring can ya get!? :p

I never had a chance to drink my normal 2nd cup o' java this morning so I can't wait for my Dunkin' stop this morning. I go every morning between dropping DS off at school and heading to work since I have tons of time in between. I normally get decaf there but today will be leaded for sure!;)

Time to go...BBL!

Good morning everyone!

Gotta be quick 'cuz I'm at work, but I can report that Day 1 of FF's Dec. rotation is done. Man, I am going to feel it tomorrow, I know it!!

Also, breakfast was 1/2 cup of Eggbeaters with 1/2 cup chopped green peppers, and 1/2 cup Fiber One with 1/2 milk. I've got Greek yogurt for snack #1, a salad with a can of tuna for lunch (forgot my dressing :mad:), and some sliced turkey breast for snack #2 later in the day if I need a little extra protein.

I'm making a black bean chili for dinner tonight using ground turkey.

Gotta get some work done but will BBS~

Just a thought...and hopefully others will chime in...but maybe our new name needs to be something like Damage Control December? Because I feel like that's what I'm trying to do this month...control the damage of the past few months :p.

Hey Girls.

I just finished my lunch. I had 4-5 slices of deli turkey and a large salad. I'm nice and full and ready for a nap now. ;)

I'm very bloated today. Is this what I get for eating healthy? :rolleyes:

I like Damage Control for a thread name. Heck, we can change it again in January if we want to. No one said we have to keep the same name for months at a time, right? :D Okay so I will use Damage Control starting tmrw...if I remember that is! LOL

Jen: Great job on the eats. Keep it up! Black bean chili sounds fab! Can ya send a bowl or 2 my way? :)

Sunny: So what else have you eaten today girl? We can't keep you on the straight and narrow if you don't post your food! LOL Breakfast sounded great though!

Hi ladies,

Well I got my butt kicked yesterday by MIC. I used to do this w/o all the time years ago. It was one of my first Cathe workouts. I am going to do Fitness Freaks Dec rotation, but I'll be adding more cardio. I will start with her rotation tomorrow.

This morning was Lowmax and later today is heavy leg training at the rec ctr. This is the last week of my meltdown class and the Spring Fitness Challenge doesn't start until mid Feb.:(

DH's suggestion for our thread name was sweatin' sexies! Of course when I told DH about Cathe's new Hardcore series he said "Cathe does porn"??? I like December Damage Control myself. I'm game for anything.

Breakfast was fiber one, prot powder, banana, almond milk. Lunch is a green salad with tuna & apple or banana, snack will be either an apple or banana. Dinner will probably be a protein shake after class tonight.

Wendy-Nice job doing KPC with weighted gloves! I think we all need a good dose of clean eating for the month. Thanks for getting us started on cleaning up our diets.

Sunny-your breakfast sounds delicious! (mini egg white muffins with tomatos and spinach) How do you make this??

Jen-I'll be dom'ing right along with you with this rotation. My days may be a little off so I can add in cardio but I'll get in the weights too.

wendy- ha you caught me. so far after breakfast my snack included some almonds and babybel light cheeses (2) only 50 cals each. unfortunately for lunch we had a party because we are renaming our Y- i had a cookie:confused: i passed on the sweet tea and had water. i will burn off that cookie with a nice elliptical sweatfest.

diana- super easy to make: egg whites, some lf cheddar cheese, diced tomatos, spinach- mix together, spray muffin pan, fill each muffin and cook until finished. delicious!

Just finished up a snack of natural pb on a couple of fiber crispbreads (crackers) and some ff milk.

Not sure what's for dinner tonight but it'll be healthy! :)

Sunny: One cookie won't kill ya. It's when ya let 1 turn into many that the problems begin! LOL Enjoy the rest of your day and the EXT sweatfest later!:D

Diana: Enjoy FF's dec rotation! Jen is doing it too so you guys can compare notes...ie: DOMS, etc. :)
 
Heya girls

We got hit with a big snow storm thru the night and today. We've got about a foot of snow and my car is stuck at the bottom of the driveway. Of coarse I got stuck coming home instead of going to work.:confused: Oh well, school was cancelled today so there will be no basketball game for Cody tonight so maybe I'll look for some Cyber Monday deals. Has anyone found any??
I haven't had a chance to check out all of the past posts but I think I caught most of them. I've also let me eats get away from me. It is time to rein it in so I am starting to log my eats into sparkpeople starting today. I've gained muscle during the X as usual, but I didn't drop pant sizes like I did before.:( I have plyoX to do today since I started my rotation early yesterday thinking today would be too busy to get a workout in, but now I've got lots of time so I'll just add in an extra w/o this week. This is the last week....so now gotta figure out what's next. I'd better get going on my 1RM's. I had considered just not doing it, but I think I'd better give it a shot. I'm thinking doing a half hour of 1RM's and adding in a half hour of cardio per day for a couple of weeks. By then, STS should be getting close.:D

Wendy - Great idea attacking the eats. I really needed a kick in the pants to get it into gear. I could easily go hog wild this time o' year.:eek:
*lol* I hear you on the bloated feeling. The carrots, broccoli, and celery have made me gassy today. Good thing I don't have to work in close quarters with anyone. I had a protein pancake with PB and orange this morning and then had some turkey noodle soup with veges and chocolate square for lunch. I love to make soup out of leftovers.:p I also had some peanuts and a banana when I got home and a bit more soup. ACK! I love it but it just doesn't fill me up.:confused:

Jen - Love your idea about a new name. Ya - I'm all about Damage Control this time of year.
Sounds like you got some "me" time this weekend. Sorry the X messed up your workout plans though.

Diana - Sweatin' sexies huh? I sure didn't feel very sexy after doing PP this Saturday. I always look like such a wet mess after that. LOL!

DeeDee - I was tempted with the EXT today as well, but thought I'd better just do plyo and get it over with. Do you do CC's or itrains on the EXT or do you just get on and go?

Hola chiquitas !

Been MIA as I've been bustin' some tooshie on my house. Even got DH motivated and we have 2 of our new interior doors up ! Woo Hoo ! Execellent for him.

No workouts the past few days - opted for the house instead.

BUT - LOLing at the posts from y'day. I am 5'5" and weighed about 127 - 128 until TDay ! With all the working around the house, haven't been eating much but have hit a few beers ! :eek: Scale was up the other day to 130 !

Yep Dee Dee - seems we are all very similar here.

AND - Jen - I started FF Dec. rotation today too - saw it was going to be posted and opted to switcharoo from Cathe's Nov. rotation.

So this AM was 4DS C&B but I'm doing the endomorph so added the HIS. Good workout - unfortunately pulled my lower back while doing the bent over rows ! UGH ! Will ice when I get home.

Eats today: Cranberry juice w/flaxseed & Protein drink for Breakfast. Not hungry for snack (cottage cheese w/2 plums) so skipped to lunch - lazy day for me: Lean Cuisine Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. Dinner? no clue as my stomach is acting up.

I like the Damage Control - do like the "factor" part of our name too. I'm sure I'll find you tomorrow AM Wendy.

Anyone heard from Laura lately?

Monday and FIRST of month (welfare check day) *ugh*

I have been totally swamped . . OMG .. short handed of course .. and traffic is NON stop in here!! and I leave for a few days and you girls are changing our name and making us post our EATS thru the HOLIDAYS :eek::confused: ... have you lost your minds??? :confused:.. JK ;)... although I will warn you if I post MY eats ... you girls are gonna die laughing!!

to catch up quickly - had a wonderful TG ... didn't over eat .. but had a little of everthing .. did get CC#7 done b-4 the big meal .. AND a run in w/the dogs .. no shopping .. more CABS than I should have .. MY TEAM LOST :( .. it was ugly ... and our rivals are VERY cocky and super obnoxious now ... cookmax and cleanmax and family max thru the whole holiday!!

Glad all of you sound like you had a wonderful holiday..

DI ..kudos for you fighting the crowds .. I can not stomach them and refuse to wait in lines like that ... I will be cyber-shopping tonight!:)

OK .. the eats .. breakfast:cereal w/1% milk - no snack (too busy) - lunch: 20 min on elliptical - grilled boneless pork chop - english peas - and home made mashed potatoes (this IS clean for me .. ok stop laughing now .. ) - no snack (too busy) - tonight class circuit class .. tonight planning on making Chili w/deer meat w/reg saltines

I am at the same weight . . 136 .. I usually stay right at 136 and 138 .. pretty much never fluctuate much (knock on wood) .. this is a good weight for me .. but I would like to add a bit more muscle and get a bit leaner .. would like to loose some/lean up in my midsection (thanks to the CABS) ... I will do my best to eat cleaner .. LOL .. but my clean and your clean are 2 different things ... LOL.. not making any promises on the CABS until after the holidays .. have several parties lined up and on vacation at end of DEC and 1st of Jan .. after that I intend on cleaning up everything .. even the CABS *gasp*!! My VBF says I am the only one she knows who can loose weight during the holidays and while on vacation .. LOL .. think it is stress during the holidays .. and our vacations we are on the go so much!!

OK .. better run ... taken me forever to write this ... have a great one .. and great sweaty workouts!!
 
Just finished dinner. Had a talapia sandwich. I made the talapia on the stove in just a little olive oil and used toasted ww bread and a slice of cheese on the sandwich. It was uber yummy. When I was done I was still hungry so I scooped out the last of the hummus I had on to one of the crispbread thingies I had before and ate that. Later on I'll probably have a piece of fruit for a snack.

Oh and I had 1/2 a glass of wine before dinner. I was a little cranky and it snapped me right out of it! LOL

Hey Ladies,

Back to say that I managed heavy legs at the rec ctr. I'm thinking of trying lighter weights and lots of reps for the next few weeks, for legs only. I have thick muscular thighs and would love to get rid of the fat on them. Time to try mixing it up a bit.

Sunny-thanks for the recipe. I'm going to try those next week. I've already made my eggbeaters for this week.

Jacque-it must feel nice to get some of the work around the house done. We all need to take care of those things every now and then. Glad to see you are joining Jen and I with FF's Dec Rotation.

Angie-thought you'd get a good laugh outta dh's suggestion. He's says that's what I look like when I come upstairs after a workout. We did have a bit of snow but it didn't stick. The mountains got a foot of snow so the skiing should be good, after they get the roads cleaned up. Sorry you got stuck in the snow, but at least you made it home!

Laura-you are too funny! Yes I think we are all crazy for trying to eat clean through the holidays. I know I need to cut out the chocolate, okay lets be realistic, I will try to limit my chocolate intake. I've been doing a little online shopping myself but haven't found any super deals.

Wendy- I love tilapia, your sandwich sounds delicious!

Okay girls. Last check in of the day for me before I hit the hay...

For my evening snack I had an apple and a pria bar (110 cal) with a small glass of f/f milk. It satisfied my hunger AND my sweet tooth. Now I can call it a wonderful day. :)

Diana: I say give high reps/low weight (endurance) a try for a while. Change is always good! Let us know how it goes for you. :) I hesitate to buy talapia because it can come out dry. I've always baked it though and this time I didn't and it was simply PERFECT! I'll have to remember that and avoid baking it from now on.

Laura: You sound like my hubby! LOL Thanks for the kind words but trust me, I've gained 4.5 pounds and it's ALL in my gut! UGH! :eek: I am determined to get rid of it though! I have a goal to lose it by Christmas...or atleast most of it! C'mon...post your eats with us through the holidays. I'll bet it keeps you as clean as possible! I LOVE homemade mashed potatoes! YUMMY!

Jacque: Glad you got DH motivated to do stuff around the house. My DH is a hard sell on getting things done too. :rolleyes: I wish he was one of those guys who couldn't sit still. Those types are always BEGGIN' for something to do around the house! Gosh, how nice that would be, ey? *sigh* :)
LMBO at the fact that we all gained weight and all weigh in around 130 these days! Now let's hope we can ALL lose the weight, right?

Ang: Snowed in? That can be fun. It can also be extremely irritating! I hope you are not in the latter category. So you are with us on cleanin' it up this month? So you are gonna do the 1RM rotation after the X ey? :D

Hi Ladies,

Well it's my last checkin of the evening. My legs will be killing me tomorrow for sure. After heavy leg training and the meltdown class....tonight we started with 6 sets of stair running with weights and that was just the warmup. Then we moved on to group A, 30 decline pushups, 40 dips, 50 squats w/db, Group B, 30 bicep curls standing on a stability ball, 20 side leg lefts, 40 hamstring roll-ins, Group C, 20 overhead press and chest press sitting on a stability ball, I can't remember the rest. Anyway then we went back to running 5 sets of stairs and repeat the weight section and so on.

My hamstrings are already sore. Thank goodness tomorrow I start with upper body.

Wendy-I always bake my tilapia on a slotted roasting pan and put water in the bottom of the pan and it always turns out nice & moist. I also sprinkle lemon pepper on it before serving.
