Hey everyone!
I'm just getting a light dinner together for me and the kids now, and it's going to include a salad and some leftover turkey, maybe some of the roasted butternut squash I have leftover, too. Fortunately, I made the squash myself, so I know what's in it. I had a snack earlier of some greek yogurt and a few (6, to be exact) cherries on top. All in all, it has been a very successful diet day.
Dee Dee, sounds like our goals are the same. I like that we're focusing on this now during the month of December, because temptation abounds this month. I figure if I stay clean and consistent all month, I can celebrate without too much worry on Christmas Day.
Diana, I hadn't realized that there were only two days of cardio per week until you mentioned it. Not sure how I feel about that. I think I'll probably follow the rotation as written for the first two weeks, and if I feel like I need more cardio after that, I'll figure out a way to sneak it in.
Wendy, I totally get everything you're saying about being at a weight that you're able to maintain and still have your treats. That's exactly where i want to get back to. Before I divorced, I maintained the 122 without too much trouble. And if a pound or two crept on, I could get if off in no time at all. But now working a desk job, and dating a guy who is very relaxed

when it comes to diet, I find it a lot harder. I think that's why I'm stuck on the 122 number....I figure if I get to that, I've got some leeway. It's a lofty goal, and as I said before, realistically, I could probably be pretty darn happy at 125. Don't you worry, you're going to be at your comfortable number in no time, 'cuz this month of December is all about diet and dedication!!
Gotta jet, but will check in again before bed.
