I have many Cathe and am previewing powerstrike now, is anyone like me and wonder how can they wear pants during a workout? I would get sooooo hot! Shorts for me, baggy ones if the workout allows. They have these pants on and then under those lights?? Wow! Also, in Powerstrike Mill #2, she just push ups on fists!

Happy Friday all!:)

I cannot wear long pants either! (Of course I only workout at home too!) I wear lycra shorts and tanks over a sports bra or just a sports bra if it's hot. I can't stand to wear long pants or sleeves!

I can't figure out how they can wear pants either! Heck, I even fold down the top of my shorts because I can't stand the bunching around my waist!

I am the same way. It's definitely NOT a pretty site, but I wear a sports bra and spandex shorts (DH is the only who sees anyway!). If I go out running, I do wear nylon shorts of the spandex/lycra shorts and a loose tank over the sports bra.
I found some really cool Nike running tops at a local sport equipment store that I love! They are like tank tops/sports bra combined. I love them! I usually wear those too.

At home I wear little shorts & a little bra top.

But at the gym I ALWAYS wear either cropped or long pants & a long bra top. Maybe if I was 28 I'd wear the smaller stuff, but at 38 I think 1) it's not age appropriate (thank you Stacey & Clinton }( ) & 2) I don't have the skin of a 28 year old. x(

Not really a big deal, considering my gym is colder than a cryogenics lab.

Cute comments LauraMax...my house feels like that from 4:00 pm until 5:00 am. A/C rocks!

I have worn pants in the winter time; I exercise in the basement too!

I wear long bootcut pants quite often, though I tend to wear capris or shorts more in the summer.

Sweat is good! And I like the feel of long pants holding everything snug.

LauraMax and all,

Regarding "little shorts," can you give me some advice? I bought a couple of pairs of spandex-y shorts from Fila and although they are fairly comfortable, they tend to ride up in front and visually over-emphasize my, urmmm, anatomy. So I would never leave the house in them, basically. I am hoping I don't have to wear biking "gel seat" shorts just to avoid this issue. Are there any brands/styles of spandex shorts you can recommend that are less form-fitting in this regard?

TIA,

Kristina

I would seriously have a problem if I worked out in long pants. I sweat like crazy as it is in my shorts. I have never understood how they do it... but then again, they never seem to be sweating as much as I do either. Go figure.

Another thing I can't stand and can't figure out, is how some of them work out with their hair down. My hair has to be off of my face and neck!

Thanks muchly for the reference. I just placed my Niketown order. Yay! :7
