I agree, Erica. A line was crossed IMHO when threatening PMs were sent to forum members. The whole thing was a nasty train wreck.

FWIW I also don't think it is fair to bash another forum any more than it is fair when another forum bashes this one. I happily participate in a number of forums and have gotten valuable information and different perspectives as well.

You know, you are right. I really didn't intend to forum bash. So I retract my statement.

I have a really great idea. Not that I'm some sort of self-appointed forum moderator, but why don't we just let this thread die right here? I think this whole topic has already been beaten to death at VF.

There are certain posters on the VF that just love to stir up crap. It's like they have nothing better to do. I can understand them expressing their opinions, but some of them were just down right mean.

I was the first one on that thread to stand up for Carol, and boy did I catch hell for that.

Like others have said, it's just a work out. I'd hate to see how these people react with real life situations.

Congrats on the smoke free!!! Keep it up girl!!!
I'm an ex-smoker. 10 years for me. It's not an easy addiction to break free from. Do you know I still crave a cigarette all these years later! It's crazy. I would never go down that hard road again.

I was just thinking how grateful I am to be smoke free while I was gasping for air during one to the grueling CC sprints!
These lungs are clean Glad to see your's are too!
