Hi Folks: My much anticipated package arrived in the mail today with 7 new Cathe DVD's!!!!!

Keep in mind, I've only been doing Cathe since July 1st. I can do Basic on 8" and Low Impact on 6". I've got the moves for both of these DVD's down pat now. I've done Total Body Scultping as well. These are the only Cathe DVD's I've tried so far. I don't have a barbell & weights yet, but will soon. I will be using dumbbells as a substitute for now.

Quick poll, which one do I try first????
Cardio Fusion
Low Max
Low Impact Circuit
Kick Max
Butts & Guts
Step Jump Pump + Step Blast
Total Body Stretching

Of course, they will all get a turn. I'm focusing the next month on trying all of them and then setting up a rotation for myself in September.

Just curious what everyone's opinions are?? I think Low Max might be the next logical step up from Low Impact Step.

Wow, talk about Christmas in July!!! For cardio I would do Low Max, if I remember correctly, Cardio Fusion was a bit more confusing in coreography. And if you don't care about being able to walk tomorrow, go for Butts & Guts! One of my faves!!

Good point! It is fun though. Step Jump and Pump (the step and hi/low mixes) are worth looking at too. I don't think the step is quite as intense as it is in Step Blast. She is soooo good at breaking down the choreography though.

SB is very advanced so do it one section at a time no risers to start.

Thanks ladies. I'm sure I'll love them all. I'm trying to do it in a bit of a steady progression so I don't get overwhelmed and feel I can't succeed. Tonight it will be Low Max, tomorrow I'll try Low Impact Circuit to get some weight work in. I'm going to try Butts & Guts on the weekend. May have to do it in bits n' pieces from what I hear. Kick Max I should be ok at as I've done Tae-Bo for a while. Next week I'll brave the Step Blast and Step Jump Pump and Cardio Fusion. Perhaps Sunday will be a good day for Total Body Stretching!! LOL.

I'll keep you posted as to my likes/dislikes.

As for Xmas in July....I just decided to buy a bunch cause I couldn't decide on just 1. And the fact I live in Canada and pay more for shipping, might as well do a bunch at a time when I can afford to. Of course, I'm hopefully buying a new car this week so my excess spending may come to a halt very quickly!! LOL

Cardio Fusion is a compilation workout, so it does not have the buildup/lead in to the patterns that are usually in a workout. It's definitely more tricky to learn if you don't have the original workouts and aren't already familiar with the moves.

Well, I tried Low Max last night. Wooo-weeee, what a workout!! I was sweatin' up a storm with those intensity blasts!! Some of the footwork for the step moves messed me up. Luckily it has a pre-mix of just the step moves so I'm going to have to do that a couple times to get the step moves down pat so I don't get messed up when I do the whole workout. Great leg work though. Lots of lunge type exercises. My legs were on fire during the blasts.
Thanks for the heads up on cardio fusion. I thought I might be in some trouble on that one. Surely I have enough to keep me "entertained" for a while!!
