Yummy's poll made me think of this one.

I'm horrible about cleaning the catbox. Poor babies. I use that Feline Pine litter, which controls the odor really well, and the boxes are down in the basement so I don't see them everyday. So...the cats are lucky if they get clean litter once a week. No wonder they always want to go outside!

My sister always has piles and piles of clean laundry all over her house.

Our housekeeper does the laundry, but she doesn't put it away. We usually put it away the night before she is due to come again, 2 weeks later. :(

I am terrible at doing the bathtub. I enjoy doing laundry for some reason. I think I don't like the bathutub simply because it is hard to scrub for me. I usually end up taking off my socks, rolling up my pants, and getting right inside the tub.

I hate putting away the laundry just because as soon as I put it away there is always more, so in my digust, sometimes I will just leave it where it is. My children know where to find it if they need their clothes. ;-)
Bathrooms I like to do last. I hate cleaning out the shower because I always end up looking like I took a shower just trying to clean out the shower.
I also hate ironing...YUK, YUK, YUK! I try to iron out everything in the dryer. My hubby sometimes will get fussy about his dressy shirts so I always take them to the cleaners.
As for the kitty litter box, I really don't mind, and it gets cleaned out once a week.

Charlotte-
You've got to try Land's End wrinkle resistant shirts. That's all my DH wears. No dry cleaning, no ironing, and the shirts are beautiful.

Good Morning, Nancy.:)

Yes, we get the Lands End catalogs all the time. My DH already wears the jeans which are his favorite so maybe I will check out the shirts.
Thanks.

Have a great day!

Actually, Charlotte, I think they are called "No-Iron" rather than wrinkle-resistant. They're a great value. Have a great day!!

Ironing? Oh no, no, no! I will not iron my husband's clothes. I iron my own stuff right before I need to wear it. If my husband wants his clothes ironed, he can do it himself. I also don't put his laundry away, make his breakfast or lunch. I'm his wife, not his maid.

"Independence" is the word in our house.

I can do laundry like a pro but when it comes to puttin' the clean stuff away I stink as does my DH! lol It usually hangs out in the basket until the basket is too full to put MORE clean clothes in so then we finally empty it only to fill it right back up with more clean clothes! LOL But hey, atleast we have clean clothes to wear, right? ;)

Have a great work out!

Carole,

I know how you feel.

My kitchen floor is white/beige and between my construction worker husband (dirty work boots) and my dog (shedding and dirty paws) it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean. It seems no matter how much I sweep, vacuum and wash that dang floor it's always got some grit or grime on it! AAAAHHHHH! x( ... lol Such is the life of a woman, ey?

Have a great work out!

We have to get the outside of our house cleaned, it is white with black shutters. DH wants to do it himself, but I want it done "professionally". I can't wait to get it cleaned, it really bothers me to look at our house right now...maybe I have OCD?

Sherry,

I do the exact same thing with the bathtub. Huge tubs are nice but are so hard to clean. In order to do a good job of cleaning it, you have to get back in the tub (with socks on). I'm really terrible about dusting. I go weeks at a time before doing that.

I hate }( cleaning the toilets. I have found out that my youngest DD absolutely loves to clean the toilet. Don't know why, but when ever I put the cleaner in she is right there ready to swish the toilet clean.

The chore I dispise the most is cleaning the toilets! YUCK!! I don't let them slide, not with my husband and three boys. It seems that they have to be done more often. I just don't understand how my three boys could possibly miss as much as they do. Nasty, nasty!

Are you all ready to be grossed out?! First, I am a mother of a toddler and pregnant, so that is my excuse.

But, anyway, I just went over a month without changing our sheets! (It's not even the chore I hate the most!) I can only admit it because of the anonymity the internet provides. Hopefully, I am not too tired to let that happen again!

I feel your pain, Wendy. x( My DH does commercial construction and ALWAYS tracks dirt in, plus when he plays baseball, golfs, never remembers to remove his shoes etc. I used to have white tile but when he redid the floors (after 9 years) he asked me what color floors--I said brown (wood, tile) then he asked for grout color for the brown tile and I said--you guessed it--brown. I also have a brown lab. who sheds constantly so this change has saved my sanity. Before, about 30 minutes after I cleaned, my white tile looked dirty. Everyone in the family was laughing at my color choices but I am so happy now. :7 (Can you tell I do all the housework?) /karen

My worst is dusting!! I just hate moving things off the furniture, dusting, then putting everything back. I think this is because when I was a little girl, that is the chore my mom had me do. Now I know why she didn't want to do it!! At least when I was little, I could make it last all day if I wanted to! Now I don't have that much time, so I just don't do it as often!!!:p
