I know we talk about eating right and all but I was eating dinner and it just came to mind that I watch what I eat and not what I drink, I mean I don't drink any pop ( or soda depending where you are from lol) I drink orange juice or some kind of juice....I hate just drinking water....what do you guys drink that is healthy?

Good for you on the soda pop. I'm trying to rid myself of it but it's tough. While I drink a lot of water at work I'm less successful getting it in at home. Mostly, I'm mad for hot tea. I love Stash's Fusion Red & White and drink tons of green tea. Getting used to drinking both without sweetener was tough, though.

I try to drink alot of water but it is tough for me also unless I really focus on it. I am a coffee lover so I drink alot through out the course of the day (both decaf and regular). I use splenda and fat free half and half in it to cut down on the useless cals and fat but I know I'd be much better off cutting the coffee habit back and drinking more water instead. Oh well. I gave up soda years ago and never looked back so I'm happy about that. I only drink it on rare ocassions when I am out somewhere. :)

I love Arizona Brand Iced Green Tea. I have no idea what kind of cr@p is in it cause I've never read the label but do you think that would be a better choice to take the place of some of my cups of coffee when I just don't want water??

I drink plain water and tea. Don't care for flavored waters or juice very much. One that I like though is cranberry juice mixed with seltzer and a twist of lime.

I am addicted to ice water. From my house. Freezing cold, tons of ice. I carry a giant cup around with me all day long and WOE to the child who spills it!:7

2 years ago was my New Years resolution (NO POP) and I have been only water since then. I am not a coffee drinker, but I do love my Hot Choclate in the winter (Peppermint and Candy Cane flavor). I drink some Sweet Tea in the summer but mostly all water. Ohh and my Oj in the morning just enough to take my vitaminnies.

I stopped drinking sodas years ago. Right now I only drink water, and red (rooibos) tea. I drink enough juice to take my vitamins in the morning. Juice has lots of sugar so I buy the low sugar kind.

I just got back from the foodstore. Checked out the green tea. It's filled with cr@p. Oh well. So much for that idea! LOL

I love flavored seltzer water - either plain or the kind with the artificial sweetener. I used to have a bad Diet Coke habit, but this is a great substitute! :9

In the warm weather months, I drink lots of plain water, but I also like water with some lemon or lime squeezed in (and the wedges thrown in too). I also drink lots of Polar Seltzer soda water (I love the Black Cherry) but I leave the cap off to cut down on some of the fizz.

For cold weather months I still drink the water but it tends to make me cold so I also drink lots of tea. I love Morrocan Mint by Numi, which is made from mint leaves. It has a naturally sweet flavor that doesn't require any sweetners (IMO). I also experiment with different teas from The Republic of Tea - they have a huge variety and also sell Agave nectar, which you can use as a natural sweetner.

Happy sipping!

I'm mainly a water person but do some coffee in the AM. And nearly every day, one diet soda (Yea, I know) but sometimes like flavor.

I will squeeze lemon or lime in may water like andrea does. Or another fav of mine is cranberry juice (plain, no sweetners, etc) mixed in with my water - approx 2 oz to 14 oz if making a 16 oz water container.

I don't typically drink juices other than the cranberry because of the calories - I'd rather get them from eating the fruit instead:9

Water
Teas (green, white, roibos, yerba maté, herbal)
coconut water (as a 'sports drink,' especially in the summer)
soy/rice/almond milks
rarely, juice (I'd rather eat the fruit and get the whole nutrient package, and juice is a concentrated source of calories and sugars)

Yeah, most (if not all) grocery-store green tea has high fructose corn sweetener in or other crap. About the only place to find crap-free pre-made teas is health food stores, or places like Whole Foods. But tea is easy to brew. And if that's out of the question, there are some brands of powdered tea that don't have bad stuff added (like the green tea and yerba maté at www.wisdomnaturalbrands.com )

I don't like soda, never have - fortunately. It's a constant battle with my kids, they started drinking soda when they started school x( and DH keeps buying soda at Costco or Sam's Club, I try to keep soda out of the house as much as I can since the kids will drink it if it's in the house and they will drink more than the 1 or 2 cans of soda that I have allowed them to drink.

I just drink ice water with lemon or lime or tea (herbal, green and black) I drink 2 to 3 cups of hot black tea with lemon in the morning.

I love Tazo teas. Don't like sugar or any sweetener in any of my beverages. Trader Joe's has unsweetened bottled green tea and black tea which I will buy when I am "on the road".

Every once in a blue moon I will have a cappuccino that DH makes or a latte at Starbucks. I like the smell of coffee better than the taste and I only have some coffee with my milk ;-)
