Not to worry, I'm sure many people will post here to help you.
Here's a couple tidbits of info though:
1. It takes awhile to put the weight on and it will take awhile to take it off, HOWEVER, even if you eat the exact same way and ONLY increase your exercising you will lose weight, faster if you cut out some of the processed foods, etc, but you will be speeding up your metabolism regardless. You can start by making just little changes in your eating habits and see results. You may want to have your 3 meals a day but have small snacks to tide you over between meals, ex., I have a piece of string cheese mid morning or mid afternoon, the protein seems to tie me over until dinner. Drink more fluids, hunger is supposedly a sign of thirst too, crystal lite is low in calories and there are so many flavors if you want to try something in addition to water.
2. You may want to start including other types of workouts in addition to Cathe--walking, bikeriding, etc. or you may "burn out" by doing the same thing over and over. OR, if you have Fit tv on your cable network you may want to start doing some of the other Cathe workouts that way and seeing which ones you like before buying.
3. They say that 1-2 pounds a week is a "reasonable" goal for weight loss, some people lose more than that due to the fact that your exercising more and revving up that metabolism. That being said, shoot for something around 15-20 by Christmas, but every pound lost counts, so don't get too hung up on those numbers.
4. You sound very focused in your goals and that's a very positive thing, don't be too hard on yourself though. Even if you can only set aside, let's say 15 minutes to exercise a day starting out, once you get over the initial "hump" of your body getting used to exercising regularly you'll WANT to increase it because you'll feel so much better when you exercise--I can tell a difference when I take a couple of days off without a doubt.
Hope this helps and good luck--keep us posted on your progress, we're all here to support you.
Mary
