Hey ladies!!

Good morning! Happy Sunday!

I was just sitting here thinking how wonderful everyone looks on this forum...WE all talk so much about what we Eat, Drink and which Cathe workouts we do.. Just got me thinking...

I use and LOVE all Shaklee products, I first tried the skincare and makeup last summer...IT is wonderful..My skin feels great and I get compliments on my skin all the time.

So what does everyone else use??

:) ;-) :p :9 :+ :7

I use Mary Kay products and have for years. Before that I used Jafra, don't know if they still make them or not. I like that I don't have to shop for my products, just email her and bam, it's in the mail to me.

I honestly use whats on sale ! Makes me think its time to get the good stuff and pamper my 43 year old skin !! LOL I'll be back to see if I get some new ideas . Great idea on this post . By the way you look great !:) :) :) :)

My first skin care product: water (and very little soda pop)

I used Proactiv to cleanse my skin.

I use Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals (yes, that's spelled correctly) for my foundation and concealer (and they have a shade called warmth that provides a nice glow to my skin and some contouring to my cheekbones). I also use Almay mascara, and Beauty Control blush.

I have VERY sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what I use on it.

I am not really particular on a certain skin care line. The main thing is to keep your skin well hydrated and stay out of the sun. I have used Avon products, over the last couple of years MD Forte and Kinerase products. Loads of bath oil and I really like body creams. I slather myself with all of these. I do have oily skin for the most part so have to be somewhat selective or I am hunting down the Clearasil.

I use glycolic acid products for my oily skin and breakouts. I get them at platinumskincare.com where all formulations are mixed in a lab. I swear by their products.

I get my sunscreen and foundation for oily skin from Paula Begoun's website, cosmeticcop.com.

Most of the make-up I use is by Mary Kay. A lot of people I know laugh when I talk about this cosmetics line because it reminds them of extremely made up old matrons. But by far, Mary Kay has eye shadows and blushes that stay on my oily face at the end of the day. I get mine from eBay, buy them by the lots. Much cheaper that way.

Hi Denise,

I use Bobbi Brown for my cosmetics. I switch between Murad & Ahava for my skincare. I have acne prone skin, so I can only use certain products to wash and moisturize.

Hi guys! I've been lurking for a while. Haven't had time to post. I have tried and used lots of stuff. Right now I'm using Arbonne's NutriMinC line and I love it. I have sensitive skin and Arbonne seems to have just the right stuff in it. It has evened out my skin tone and done a beautiful job on the texture. I'm 35 but people swear that I'm 28.

Most of all I stay out of the sun and I'm rabid about sunscreen. White skin is in!

Good conversation:) My all time favorite body skin care is Laura Mercier. Here scents are amazing and do wonders for the body. The product is expensive so I usually only get for gifts from my hubby. He is in sales and they use to be his account and a few years back they gave me a great free gift bag. Ever since I have been hooked.

I usually use origins and I also love the new Bath & Body Works Tutti Dolci (sp)?? I also use origins on my face and haven't found anything that works better!

hey dani... can you order the Villa Floriani products from their site? All I could find was product descriptions. Can you get it from any other sites?

THanks

I use the coconut moisturizing cream (not lotion) from www.tropicaltraditions.com. No chemicals, no preservatives, no 20 letter chemical name in your product. You can get the different smells (lavender, citrus, plain, baby silk), it makes your skin really moist (best used at night only if you wear face make up), it doesn't smell like coconuts, and it really makes a difference in my skin. The coconuts come from the Philippines, are certified organic, and the company is easy to order from.

Hi there! You know that is a good question. I had my make-up/facial done at a popular spa near me (Mario Tricoci) and that's where I first learned about Villa Floriani products. That's where I buy them too. I don't know if they have any Mario Tricoci's near you, but their website has locations listed. www.tricoci.com

Also, I looked on the villaflorini.com site and they have a contact email address: [email protected]

They could probably let you know where else you could purchase these products.

HTH!!

Dani :)

For skincare, I use several lines, and sometimes rotate between them:
Philosophy (vitamin C powder and skin firming gel; vitamin C infusion micro dermabrasion with activator gel)
Principal Secret "Reclaim" (day and night creams)
Serious Skin care (C serum, eye serum)
Lamas beauty (day and night creams)

I don't use much makeup :
Sheer cover mineral powder foundation
Mirenesse mascara (the only kind I've ever found that doesn't smudge on me)

Anyone know of a powder eyeliner that doesn't smudge? I've either got sinus-damp eyes or a too-oily eye area, and every thing smudges by the end of the day, which serves to highlight the lovely dark circles I inherited from my mother.

For skin care I really love the goat milk products at udder delight as Dani just mentioned:D and I also love the shea butter products at African Shea Butter Company www.africansheabuttercompany.com

Dani I think I will email villa floriani and find out where I can order their products, it looks like it may be just up my alley as I don't like to use products with any chemicals, especially ones I can't pronounce, lol!!!

Deborah, thanks for that website! I bookmarked it and will take a closer look tomorrow.....wondering if you ever tried the soap and teeth cleaner??

For makeup I love Bare Escentuals, Mac and Bobbi Brown:)

Kathryn, I use the mineral liner from Bare Escentuals and I love it; it doesn't smudge on me the way other liners do. I think I have the same problem as you and I find that it not only doesn't smudge but stays on superlong as well!

Thanks! I was actually thinking about something like that, but wasn't sure if it would work. I'll give it a try.
