Hi, I have been lifting weights for 20 plus years and only recently am I able to exceed Cathe's weights, with one exception. I have had a herniated disc repaired in my lower back and I am not able to do more than 35 lb squats or lunges. Plie squats I exceed her weight but for they dont put as much pressure on my lower back as the regular squats do. My personal favorite accomplishment is my shoulders. I now after 2 years of hard work exceed her weight and even add an extra set occasionally. One thing I have found is that it takes time and effort to build muscle...like years, but its worth it, at least to me.
