well, after trying just about everything...i'm looking for something that is 'lifestyle oriented'. i've heard some buzz about clean eating and ww's , here on cathe's board..was hoping for some general info re: the program from some "cathe-ite ww veterans"
i went to the ww site, but it doesn't give too much info aside from the core vs. flex (kinda basic vague general info) and basically just wants you to sign up, go to to a meeting to learn more about the program. but i don't know if i'm willing to shell out $50 for the first month, when i don't really understand or know some of the basic tenants and parameters of the program are..or whether i want to even try the program, ya know?
is there a "book" of some sort that explains the program? and if there is such a thing, is it only for ww members? can i buy it somewhere? i've seen ww cookbooks, but nothing specifically explaining the program. or do the cookbooks contain detailed information on the various programs/plans?
i did a search and someone had mentioned the points vs. the "eat as much as you want" from the healthy whole foods group. but "what" is that exactly, ya know? is fat/oil something that's limited? (i noticed alot of recipes call for 'spray oil' ) are food combinations an issue? are sweeteners an issue? fruit? it sounds like you can "cheat" on foods once in a while? is that determined by points?
sorry for all the questions...just hoping that maybe i can get "some" idea of what the diet plan is about before committing.
thanks so much.
