Weight loss Checkin

Hi everyone....I guess I'll start off.

I weighed myself Sat morning and I was down a lb :) but today when I weighed myself (I was only going to weight in on Mondays but I couldn't wait!) I was the same old weight :-(.

I still feel good....a bit tired...I just finished Step Fit. I always want the cool down to hurry up and end...I am so pooped!

I ate fairly well too. I thought I made some good choices when I ate out.....I guess not good enough. Oh, well...I didn't gain.

How did everyone else do?

If it makes you feel any better I gained a pound. (Very depressing!) I have been sick & not working out until yesterday really, but I haven't been eating much either! I know very well it's probably a normal fluctuation but seeing that dial still gives me a shock! Anyway, no progress this week but a new week dawns!

Hi Susan and Ruth,

Try not to get too depressed over the scale. Go with how you feel and look in your clothes...much better indicator. I do the same thing though. It's hard to get away from that darn ol' scale.

My week was fair. I finally broke down and weighed after my vacation week. I had not gained anyway, whew!! BUT I didn't lose any either, big suprise! Oh well, I am going to do better this. I am beginning to wonder if my body is telling me that this weight is just fine for me.

Hi all! Did great with my workouts last week. I'm noticing that
I'm getting through my tapes more easily after only a few interval workouts. The scale says I lost 1lb but it's not to be trusted.

Now that I have a better fitness foundation I'm going to start working out a little more intensely and get stricter with my nutrition. I have been at hovering around the same weight too long now and I'm pretty sure why.

Great week for you Crystal! You sound so enthusiastic about being able to stick to it and that is wonderful.

Good for you Kelly, to be able to spend a week at the beach and come back the same as you went. I eat ice cream on a vacation like that.

Nice to hear from you Ruth, sorry about the lb gain but you sound like you have a good attitude about it. I usually do too, but this week got me down a bit.

Even though I know the number on the scale doesn't really count, I still want it to move on down when I know I have body fat to lose....and that I have. On the bright side, I also have some nice muscles that I didn't have til a few years ago and my balance and flexability have improved too!

Thanks for the encouragement. I did get my period today so maybe that had something to do with it and if it didn't, well I just have to keep on going.

OK troops...we know what to do....lets do it!
