Weight Loss Check In 2/10

Good morning: I remembered to log in and everything!

I've been really bad about not exercising and not posting lately. I seem to be very much an "all or nothing" girl, I can exercise like a mad woman and eat clean or NOT (mostly its not). I've been reading about exercise, lurking on the cathe forum, planning to exercise and just not exercising for the last two weeks. I was really sick in there for a few days, but that is no excuse. I have cleaned up my eating a little bit, portion sizes, adding fiber, water and better protein, and I gave up coffee with sugar, but I wouldn't say I have been eating clean. However, I am down 8 pounds from where I started 3 weeks ago.

As for motivation... invitations to 2 highschool reunions showed up in my email this week! Guess I'll be doing everything I can to get into an "ALL" cycle for the next few months.

Hope you all had a great week.

Katie

Morning Katie,

Sounds like you're doing something right with an 8# loss in 3 weeks! :) WOW!

I'm currently experiencing TTOTM (day 2) but I hopped up on the scale just for giggles, BAD MOVE! I can't get an accurate read, I'm full of fluid, so I'll have to wait until next week. Good thing, I had a run in with a peanut butter/chocolate pie the other day(s)! :)

I hope everyone had a good week last week, I'll check back. :)

Katie great job on your loss..

Donna hoping the scale moves for you next week!

I am down another 2lbs :). However, I got the flu the end of last week and have been generally been feeling run down lately (dare I say burn out!).. so I'm going put aside the intense workouts until I feel back up to par.

This means I have to be super diligent about journalling and less bonus exercise points..;( It'll be interesting to see what next week's weigh-in brings.

Katie, good job on the 8 pounds! That is a significant loss in 3 weeks.

Donna, sounds like the chocolate peanut butter run-in was yummy at least. I had a run in with a chocolate cream pie and toll house pie on Saturday night myself.

Sharon, take the time you need to feel better. Being run down is no fun and if you need a few days off, take it, get better, and come back with a vengeance!

I did not have a loss this week. In fact, I gained a pound I think. It's hard to tell since I've been in the 140-142 range for 5 months now. I guess I'm still at a plateau. I have got to do something about my thighs before summer gets here. The Intensity series has really helped my backside, to the detriment of my front thighs.

Hope everyone had a great week.

Linda

Hi everybody!
Sharon and Katie- good job on your losses! Keep it up for this week.

Donna- you know that weight is just water retention, right?

Linda- what is your goal weight? For your height are you possibly at your goal weight and just don't know it yet?

Well I lost two pounds this week. Just was very consistent about journaling and counting my points. Unfortunately I don't think this next week's weigh-in will be too great. I woke up this morning with my period. Now this is serious trauma for me. This is my first period since having Sam (he's seven months old) and only my second time since having Ben (he's two) Needless to say we got pregnant again very quickly after our first child. So only two times for almost three years! I was so confused my it all I had to read some directions on the box because I couldn't remember how to do certain things :( Anyway I have been scarfing chocolate and trying to convince myself to get over it. Hopefully I'll be ok next week and not have gained anything. I will be happy to maintain through this ordeal. Heather

Heather,

Good job on your 2 pound weight loss! Sorry to hear about your period coming back. That is not too much fun.

My goal weight is 130 pounds. I am just slightly under 5'6". I definitely have more fat to lose in my legs and abdominal area. I was 130 in college and felt the best at that weight. I think the only way I'm going to reach my goal though is to seriously clean up my eating, since I only have one hour per day to exercise in the morning and the occasional dog walk at night until the weather warms up substantially. Thanks for asking and if you have any suggestions, believe me, I welcome them.

Hi guys,
Katie, Sharon and Heather good job on your weight loss, keep up the good work.
Donna: TTOM is tough on us girls, fluid retention is hard to deal with.
Linda: good luck maintaining, hopefully the scale will start to move for you soon.

Well guys, I was really good journalling and counting my points last week, just had one party I overdid it a little on and then on Friday I got the worst stomach virus in the world, I am still dealing with it. The scale says I lost 4 pounds but I know it is all fluid because of all the vomitting and other!!!!. I am just eating bland food right now, not really watching my points, when I feel better. I am however still exercising and enjoying it just have to watch the impact on my knee. Thats all for this week.
