What is everyone drinking for water these days?? Tap? Bottled? (which brand?) Filtered? (which brand). I'm soooo confused, I think I want a water filter but there are so many kinds, under the counter, whole house, on the faucet, pitchers. HELP!!! What are you using??? TIA!:) Linda

I drink tap. DH and I were on a roll buying gallon jugs of water because they taste so much better but we both drink a ton of water and are trying to save money. So.....we are back to tap.

Tap with a reverse osmosis filter. Not sure what the brand is. We installed it when we moved in 21 years ago. The water is from our well, but the pipes gave it "unsavory flavor" that for some reason only DH could taste. ;)

I was always a fan of tap water. I moved to another city 2 years ago, and the tap water tasted like crap . I have been using a Brita Water Filter that attaches to the faucet ever since :).

It really depends on where you are. I use a Pur Water Filter Pitcher. It's very simple to use and relatively inexpensive, but it works well.

Aquafina girl here!!! I always buy water! But, I live in farm country. Lots on chemicals.....so I would rather play it safe and pay for my water!!!! I actually love aquafina though!!!!!!!!:)

I would love to get a reverse osmosis unit. I worked in a doctor's office that had one, and I prefer the taste of water filtered like that.
Because our home base is in hurricane country, we have a Berkey water filter for times when the water is not safe from the tap. It filters out everything, even pond scum and cysts if you had to resort to such a water source. You can use one as a household filter and set it on the counter or on a floor unit. They are very affordable. Google those if you're interested. The filters are meant for large scale population usage, so you can get thousands of gallons of water from one filter.

You realize that it is a myth that bottled water is actually cleaner than tap water. Where tap water is regulated by the Clean Water Act even in the farm areas, the bottled water does not have any such standards.

Chances are, the Aquafina you are buying is coming from a tap in your area.

We drink the cheapest bottled water we can find. Usually Walmart brand in the 20 oz bottles. We also have well water and tho we get a water report saying it's perfectly fine to drink, which I believe it is, I still prefer my water without any sediment...just sayin...

I grew up on bottled water, and I do not like the taste of well water. So bottled water it is!!!!!!!

We do the same thing only we don't drink it, we just shower in it. We buy gallons of crystal.

We have a gallon-size jug that has a place for a PUR (brand) water filter which we keep in the refrigerator.
The water filters into the divided section which has a pulley lever; just pull the leaver and the water comes out of a spout. So easy, don't even have to take it out of the refrigerator except to fill it.
The filters last 3 months I believe.

Aquafina is tap water! It may be filtered, but it's just municipal water. Read the label to determine where exactly yours is from.

I just bought one like this today(different brand). So hopefully this will solve my dilema.:D

Thanks to everyone who responded!!:) Linda

I have a Brita jug that I use to make ice cubes, but I actually drink aloe water for the most part. It's supposed to have all kinds of health & anti-aging benefits. And I have to say, since I started drinking it I have def. noticed healthier hair & skin.

It is expensive, but for me it's worth it. I get it by the gallon from the Vitamin Shoppe. It's called George's distilled aloe water. I think you can get it at Whole Foods too. You can get regular aloe water much cheaper almost anywhere, but the distilled is tasteless. The regular is kind of funky.

I may just have to try this, I just got back from the Vitamin Shoppe after loading up on supplements!
