Walking lunge question

Hi everyone,

I was reading Cathe's August rotation. I'm not up to doing all of it but have been wanting to incorporate walking lunges into my workout program.

My question is what kind of speed does one shoot for with a walking lunge. I know that I will start out with a very slow and deliberate speed to keep myself stable. But, I was wondering if more experienced people do them quickly.

Thanks

I don't think it's about speed, but as you become more proficient you will undoubtedly become quicker. If you go to fast, you will negate the effects of really working the positive & negative motions. So, the short answer is whatever pace works for you that you can really feel the legs working and you maintain good form.
