Can you walk? I thought I was walking by now. It might not have been a very long walk but at least it was something. Hang in there. The time will go by faster than you think. I know how hard it is. :)

Hang in there Wendy, not much longer and you'll be back at it!! I wanted to tell you to have a great time tonight, I read over on the daily thread that you're going out with a friend. HAVE FUN!!!!

Shelley-

Actually as much as I can't wait to get back to the work outs, I am quite scared! You see...I have only done Cathe's work outs pregnant so they have ALWAYS been modified in some way shape or form from day one! When I start working out again I am not going to have an excuse to modify except maybe in the very beginning since it will have been 6 weeks since I did my last one. Will I survive her at "full throttle"!? Wish me luck!!!

Wendy,

Ah, just relax and enjoy while you can. You will be much stronger than you think once you get going again from all your rest.
Hey, my sister just found out she is having a baby boy. She is due around Halloween. She is going to name her baby Austin.

Charlotte~~

Wendy, I know how you feel, but it won't be long now. And don't worry about how you'll do when you do get back to working out. Just pace yourself. You'll be okay. You're looking mighty fine 2 weeks post-pregnancy.:)

Did you have a csection? If not, you do not have to wait 6 weeks to workout. I started working out after my 2nd and 3rd baby at 2 weeks. I did not have stitches though. I did with my first and started working out at about 4 weeks. You just have to be careful of ab work. Other than that, if you feel well enough, you should be able to start where you stopped and work your way up to the advanced "Cathe" level.

I'm glad that's you who is crying and not the beautiful baby boy! I was afraid you were going to say you needed to know what to do with a colicky baby but it's a colicky mommy! You can try walking the floor or bouncing him to burn a few extra calories and he'll like even if he's not a crank like some babies I have known. ;)

Tell me, what it is you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? -Mary Oliver

Wendy - I didn't wait the full recommended amount of time before I started exercising again. But I started with walking. It's a great way to get back into it and you can take Joey along with you.

It's SO hard to do a full workout with an infant or toddler. I wasn't able to really get back into it until Teri was 4.

Carmenelectra-So why is your step lonely?? :-(

Charlotte-Congrats on the up and coming nephew! That's fantastic! :7 Will this be your sister's first? Will it be your first time as an Aunt?

Pinky-Thank you! I hope you are right.:)

Sarab-No C-section, Phew! But I did get stitches from tearing during birth. I was told 4-6 weeks to wait for all exercise but walking. I feel great and my bleeding is down to minimal spotting so I could probably do whatever I want and be fine but I won't just in case...

Bobbi-It's definately me cranking and not my baby lol...but let me tell you how capable he definately is of cranking! Especially when it's time for mom to get some sleep!!!:p

Donna-I took a couple of walks outside with Joey and one by myself when DH was home one evening but it's been too hot this week for me to even want to walk once DH gets home..YUCK! I know it will be very difficult to work out like I used to with a young baby at home. My DH is very supportive of my exercise though so I am hoping that if I find it difficult to complete a work out during the day, that he will help me out and take Joey after dinner some nights so that I can get a good full work out in. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me that he's as supportive as I say he is! lol
