Victorias Secret Sports bra

Has anyone tried one of these? I have been getting coupons for a free pany ant $10 off a VS sports bra in my Shape magazine. I go in tonight to cash in on my free panty (again...last issue had a coupon, too) and I decide to at least **look** at the sports bras (not expecting much).

Well, I found one that actually has adjustable hooks, clasp thingies along the rib cage on each side of the bra!! The fit was amazing! I cannot wait to do my long run in it on Sunday!

Has anyone tried these? Do you like?

I didn't even know they came out with them! Let us know how you like it after your long run, Sarah!

I can imagine they cost a pretty penny though...Looks like there will be no VS sports bras in my future...I won't even pay $20 for one! Yes, I admit it, there are certain things I am cheap about! :p :7 :7 :7

ETA: BTW, Sarah...get your butt back to the Cheetah check-in, girl! We miss you!:)

Dear Ima, I mean Sarah, I tied to look at these when I picked up my free panties, but the store only had one style in stock. They were pretty spendy, even with the coupon, so I passed. I'm with Wendy on price and can usually find good name brand bras at T J Maxx. I hope it works well for you.

I LOOOOOVE TJ Maxx, Robin! When I first started going there it was just to "lurk", LOL! My mom and I would wander the housewares aisle cause they always have interesting stuff to look at. One day I decided to give the clothing a shot and I have now picked up MANY things at great prices! Work out clothes and street clothes alike!:+

They have the new sports bra in their Pink collection that are only $18.50... plus my $5 off with my free panty coupon. :D I love it, really comfy. I didn't think that was too bad compared to the other ones they have for about $30.

Well, this one was $45 and I paid $35 with my coupon. If you go to any specialty running/sports store, that is about what you will pay for a really good sports bra. There are some things I can get away with skimping on and others...well, just have to bite the bullet!

That is the one I bought...same color and all.

I will have to try TJ Max!!! Can you believe I have never been there??? I need to get out of my cave.

The sports bra looks nice, Sarah! You are not afraid of wearing a white top? }( I am always very fearful of that! LOL

So you've never been to a TJ Maxx!? Go go go! I found a pair of Lucky brand jeans there for $22.00!!!! I could not afford to buy a pair full price but when I saw these I jumped on them! Too bad they are too big for me now :-( ... I really need to get to a tailor and have them taken in. They are just sooo comfy!:)

Well, after Thursday night, I should be!!! I met some running gals at the track and we got caught in a down pour 1/2 way through our workout! We took cover under the bleachers but that did nothing to keep us dry. There was no thunder or lightenening and we were still warm....that's how hot and muggy it was! It was one of those super hard down pours that lasts a few minutes. We were soaked! We stayed and did the other half of our workout!

ANYWAY!!! I had white bra with white tank and I was glad that my DH was the only guy there!

This VS bra has nice, thick cups. It also has thin, removable pads.

My big problem is I love running...you all know that! But if you were to look at my chest after a run...you'd think I REALLY REALLY love running!!

>We were soaked! We stayed and did the
>other half of our workout!

You had to stay to give your top a chance to dry out!;)

>My big problem is I love running...you all know that! But if
>you were to look at my chest after a run...you'd think I
>REALLY REALLY love running!!

I miss my TJ Maxx in Augusta now that I'm in the boonies.;(

Thanks for the sports bra heads-up, I'm looking for a new brand.

victoria's sports bra is suppose to be nomimated as the best sports bra right now. My friend and I looked at them. I really liked the orange one . I dont run in just a sports bra though. some of the girls in my nieghborhood do, I am not that brave yet. I wear danskin from walmart. They are under 10$ and give good support. They dont flatten you out either, I like to look like I do have boobs, working out or not!!!

I was about to buy one (and get my free panty) -- but I put them back on the last minute, because I just don't need to be spending the money! I have a whole drawer full of bras -- do I really need another one?

Sarah - LOVE the bra! I love the black and white color combo too.

Wendy - okay, now I know it's been a long time since we were on the Moment of Truth thread together, but WHAT have you been up to where you need to be buying "street" clothes??? }(

Sorry. I couldn't resist.

Susan...LOL, I feel like a niave kid right now but I'm not really sure what the definition of "street" clothes is that you are thinking of! I know you know what I was TRYING to say though...you are just being a brat so :p !!!!:) :7 :+ :)

Hold on a sec! I think I know what you are talking about now! ROTFLMAO!:7 :7 :7 Good one!!!

I also received the same coupon, but wasn't able to get to Vicky S's in time before it expired. I also liked the look of the bra and wondered about it. I am glad to hear good reviews. Maybe I will get my patootie there it I get another coupon in the mail!

#1 My coupon was from Shape magazine, I received two...one in the last two issues.

#2 I love your quote! Very cute and funny! Thanks so much for the giggle!

I thought of buying one of these but I stopped because I'm a D cup and normally have to wear two bras. Do you think it would be supportive enough for me? I'd love to find a bra that I wouldn't have to "layer". Although in a downpour I might want to be "layered":7 !!!

I think it is much more supportive than any of the bras I have (see above picture). It says "medium support" but I think it is more. I wear a C/D and I had no issues. It has pads but they aren't foamy, pretty thin material, actually! I think if you were wet, that would be plenty to keep everything...discrete! I need that because I WILL run in the rain.
