Turbo Jam Results

I did a Turbo Jam rotation a couple of years ago, and I did see results. I did strictly Turbo Jam for about 4-6 weeks, I can't remember exactly. I lost a few lbs., maybe 5 and inches. It feels like you're not working really hard, but a lot of the excercises really work the core. I think I started seeing results around the 3rd week.

I'm starting a TJ rotation next week. I'm very excited! I am mixing it up with Jari Love though. I'll be doing TJ Cardios and Jari's weights for 3 weeks. After that, if I like it, I will continue on to using TJ cardios AND weights with a few other BB weight work outs thrown in for good measure. ;)

I would definately say to give it another week before you decide it's not working for you. Also, you may just need to tweak it to make it work instead of giving up on it entirely. JMHO. :)

I have several TorboJam WO's & although I have not done them in quite a while I like them occassionally. I don't have the package that you buy off tv but I think it's DanceParty 1 & 2 or maybe it's 2 & 3? Not sure. I never used it as a rotation by itself but on cardio days.

I use TJ as a supplement to my cardio coach and weight lifting. I wouldn't consider TJ a high intensity cardio. I own all the TJ's, but only use the cardio parties. I usually use them on my steady state cardio days or on my active rest days(because they are just too darn much fun:)). They are a good add on to a weight training day too.
I should mention, I do not use the weighted gloves. The moves are not controlled enough for me to feel comfortable with weighted gloves.

Since I've worked my way past the intensities of TJ's to Cathe's, I don't think they have a toning effect on me. BUT... I know they do tighten my Core. they are so Core focused, without doing tons of floorwork/crunchie style work.

that being said, I love to do them for cardio w/ Cathe rotations. They still make me sweat like crazy, and I have fun doing them!

I've never done an all TJ rotation. Like the other ladies, I like them for an optional cardio day. I do love the 20 min Ab Jam for an ab workout though, add some hand weights or gloves and you'll feel it even more! I prefer heavier weights, so I would do TJ for cardio and P90X for my weight work.

But... if you're just starting a new routine then give it at least 3-4 weeks and see if you see changes. 2 weeks isn't long to see a difference!
