Tough times.. please send good thoughts

I know how hard this must be for you. My husbands mom is schizophrenic and we have been dealing with her illness for years and she has been in and out of facilities. It is so hard when you love some one and you want to help and they push you away due to mental illness. I will be thinking good thoughts for you. God Bless.

Thanks, you make me feel so much stronger - for years I've tried to do it all my self and it's so nice when you ask for help to have wonderful folks like you :)

Yes Candi, it is scizophrenia (paranoid) when it gets acute.
Susan you said it exactly as it is. You want to help and they push you away

Thanks so much for those of you who were there last summer when my son was diagnosed with the brain aneurysm.

Ha, Nadine. Yes I guess it is burning calories. I've hardly worked out over the last year and am only gained 3 lbs - although my muscle tone .....

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May He guide you through the difficult decisions you have to make.
 
Hopefully the court will hear you and see that you have your mother's best interest at heart. Hopefully one day soon she will be in place to thank you for your hard work now.

My son had a set back tonight. We will go to the dr tomorrow and most likely up his meds. Yes please keep those prayers, good thoughts coming our way

Thanks. Dr apt went well. Yep seems like a combination of getting the meds just right and having a fever. He went back to school today and had a very good day. They upped the dosage as well. It had been 5.5 mos with no problems so we are optimistic (as are the drs)

My son was THRILLED to know so many people are caring about him and Cathe too. He has lived with me doing cathe for years ;)

Mother isn't doing well but soon it will be undercontrol. Arggh they called today to say she hasn't paid her rent and someone is either "steeling her mail" or she did a change of address.
